“Love these shoes. they are comfortable and they fit perfectly. You can make them tight however snug you want them. I wore them in rain, and they cleaned off very easily. Very light weight. Good for kayaking or any other water activity.”
“With a retail cost of thirty bucks, these water shoes are a good value.I had both kids who wear a size 12 try these. My kid with feet regular width a little on the narrow side said they fit great and were comfortable. Easy to get on, easy to wear and adjust, and nice to walk around in.My kid with regular-width feet a little on the wide side that can't wear some brands because the regular width isn't wide enough but the wide width is too wide, said they dug into the bottom sides all along the edge where the insole curves up to the side of the shoe, but other than that they were pretty comfortable for water shoes. One thing that both kids were concerned with was the larger holes in the soles for water to drain. It's still below freezing here so they couldn't try them out, but they were both concerned about the river bed where they'd be using these and the smaller rocks and sand getting lodged in the holes.Their previous water shoes all had thin solid soles, and they complained about the rocks digging into their feet, so I thought these with the thicker soles would work better. They agreed that it would be great for the water to drain and all the walking, but they both were worried about stopping every 10 minutes to pick rocks, or sand pack out of the bottom of their shoes. The product photos did show rocky terrain for usage, so presumably, it's not a constant problem, but after they get continued use in a few months if they have any extra complaints about it, I'll be sure to update my review. So I'd say, the sizing is accurate to your normal size, and if you have feet that are a little bit narrow to fairly normal regular-width, then they will probably be a good shoe for you. Just a fair warning, if you occasionally run into a shoe that is just a little too narrow for you, these are probably not going to do the job, especially if you are planning to do much walking.”
“My first impressions of these shoes is that they remind me of 'Aqua Socks' that I used to wear many years ago when canoeing or going to water parks. I don't recall whether that was a specific brand name, or just the description for that style of shoe that is made to be worn in water. At any rate, they are super lightweight, but with a surprisingly thick sole for comfort and support. Both the sole and the upper portion are porous and allow water to drain out of the shoe. They should be able to dry very quickly, as they have no separate foam insole.I usually wear a size 10 shoe, though that can be 10.5 or 9.5 depending on the brand. I used the sizing chart on the Amazon listing to order the closest size, which turned out to be a 10. I was a little surprised to see that my big toe is quite close to the front edge of the shoe. In a running shoe or dress shoe, this would be problematic, and I'd have to exchange it for a 10.5. But since these shoes have such a wide toe box, and the upper is flexible, it's actually perfect.I love that I can slip these off and on so easily, and that they are so light. I'm tempted to use them as regular non-watersports casual/walking shoes, and if I do so I'll probably just wear socks. I'll have to keep an eye on whether the all-synthetic/no-insole design leads to odor issues or not, but I think the perforations in the sole will help mitigate that. One potential downside to the perforations in the sole is that dust, sand, and small rocks will be able to work their way up into the shoe compartment. This could be problematic both in water applications (walking in sandy/rocky beaches or rivers), and just as a casual dry shoe (walking on sandy or dirty surfaces). I think I'm OK with that tradeoff, given that the perforations will provide plenty of ventilation and cooling.5/5 styles. Fingers crossed that these will turn out to be a durable walkabout type of shoe -- in addition to serving the purpose of a relatively sturdy water shoe for canoeing and the like.”
“These shoes are really nice and lightweight. The soles are very durable, and a little bit compressible so they are very comfortable. They are very lightweight shoes as well, I was surprised when I lifted the package. They are not like the super hard rubber soles of regular shoes. The mesh is pretty soft and stretchable, and the laces are elastic. You do not tie them, but there is a clasp that you squeeze and pull to tighten. I wish I had these many years ago when I used to go to amusement parks with water rides, or when I had gone white water rafting, they are perfect for that. The drainage holes are very large and the mesh on the inside of the soles is very comfortable as well. The design is plain and simple, not a lot of crazy stripes, but I like the white soles, even though they might show the dirt after a while. The size chart actually suggested a smaller size for me, but I got the 11 because my regular shoe size is 11.5, and they are a pretty perfect fit. I'm very satisfied, thank you so much.”
