“These are well made and comfortable (for what they are), but they do NOT provide much warmth in cold weather for long periods of time, the "fur" lining is not what I expected. So, buy a size higher and wear two pairs of socks, and it should help. The goods news is that these work both for rainy conditions and snow, and the treads I have found do not slide on the snow like some others might..”
“Spacious for toes and arches of the feet, with room for thicker socks. Stiff as hell on my hammies, but overall a great winter boot. Got some gel shoe liners and added it to them, fixing the issue. Waterproof and really warm. They come with thinsulate fleece on the inside, so you can wear cotton socks in the winter if you want. Double up the boots with a wool blend sock if you want nice hot feet for shoveling the driveway or a mid December hike.”
“I bought these for around the yard. I kept getting my socks wet when I used my flip flops. I decided to use my old hiking boots and those wore out over time. These received nice reviews so bought a 1/2 size smaller. The fit is good. I can wear these with or without socks. Without socks they are warm and comfortable. So far no issues as they feel very stable and can easily wash off if they get muddy (a big advantage over my old hiking boots). Overall a good buy so far.”
“I don’t know that I can tell a difference between the LL Beans and these. I don’t put these to hardcore use but for walking around in the rain, commuting in PNW, little trail walking there perfect! Stylish too, fits dead on, ordered a 12. Cozy fleece inside too!”
