“If you're a runner that has already done the work to learn about your pose and stride and have or want to ween yourself off of expensive, and/or unnecessarily cushioned running shoes (bc youre not pounding the ground running dozens of miles/day), these are for you. Even if you're someone who wants to get out of narrow walking shoes and have your feet learn to feel the ground and strengthen, these are also for you.I run 1-5miles any given day. I also workout (squat, etc) in these also.In the very beginning i had trouble with the back ankle fabric rubbing & causing blistering. I just wore crew length socks until the shoe stretched & loosened eventually. I can now wear shorter "no show" socks with them. Due to how low the shoe is cut, you can see the no show socks, but that doesnt matter to me.I love these shoes, and their price point. Yes, there is some tearing in the rubber/plasticy design on the shoe by now, but the integrity of the actual shoe is a whole. There is no fabric tearing as of yet.I will be repurchasing these again. So i do hope they are not discontinued.”
“I bought these because of the lacing system and the fact that they were a barefoot trail runner. I had shoulder surgery a few months ago, and I needed something similar to my current barefoot trail runners that I could just slip on without having tie laces so that I could walk the dogs. These were comfortable initially, but after about a mile into the walk, I could feel the burn of blisters beginning. I stopped using them to let the blisters heal. A few weeks later, I tried using them again, and once again, I had terrible blisters from them.”
“I liked the width at first, but after the first mile, I couldn’t go on running as there were too many hard hotspots all over & around my my upper feet above toe area. Return window is gone, so I had to keep it... I prefend another shoe similar to it but was supposedly a water shoe felt so much more comfortable that I used it “barefoot running” on my treadmill for up to 5 miles, so I thought this shoe that was supposedly for lightweight “barefoot” trail running would perform even better... I may have to look for more of those aqua/water shoes again.”
“Bought this type of shoe on a recommendation from a friend for a gym class. They work well for this type of class. ((body pump) I haven’t worn them outside. I like a little more protection under my feet, when I’m outside.”
