“These are great for cold and/or wet, lots of insulation and waterproof materials. Great deep tread. They are amazing for fit, with velcro strips lower by the ankle, and pull string at the top to go out in deep snow without having to dry them over a heater vent later.”

“I bought these for my husband before we get snow as he walks to work. These boots in my & my husband's opinion are the best boots you will find. The thread on them reminds us of the threads on a new set of tires. They are water proof and the inside is fur lined throughout the whole inside of the boot. That includes the foot area. You can feel the warmth begin as soon as you put them on. It's not winter yet, but I don't believe you will need to wear winter socks with these boots. I highly recommend getting a pair.
