“I wore them to a week’s stay at Disney, and put some miles on them.I also wore them while rafting in the Smokies.Great shoes to wear when you expect to get wet. Very comfortable for walking on both dry, flat ground or wet slippery rocks. Very light and comfortable, even when wet (and while swimming). The shoes dry overnight.I recommend thin, quick-drying socks. The holes in the bottom of the shoes allow water in (as well as acting as a functioning drain.) Your socks will get wet in a shallow puddle.The soft soles are showing excessive wear. This likely means a shorter lifespan than sneakers. This isn’t unexpected, but they’re holding up far better than anticipated.With short quick dry socks, they look like sneakers.”
