Aleader Men's Xdrain Classic 1.0 Water Shoes GRAY/ORANGE/XD / 7 Reviews

With as many good reviews as I read, I opted for these due, also, to the price. I'm about 10 1/2, with socks, so opted for a 10 in this shoe, and it's the right size for me.But I've only worn them about half a dozen times, and each time I kept promising myself it would be the last.Dry:These are light weight and easy to put on/take off. The insole also stays in place when the shoe is removed. However the holes in the sole, there for (presumably) grip and water drainage, catch every small stone you walk on, and those stones would multiply and press into me every time I put my foot down The only thing between my skin and the offending stones is the insole, which isn't very thick. If you check the picture, you'll see a variety of hole sizes, to cater for a variety of stone sizes. On sand I'm sure they are fine, but on any surface where there are small stones, I was constantly digging them out of the holes just to leave them comfortable to walk in. This was the biggest issue. You can argue that I should just avoid any path with anything resembling small stones, but that would really restrict their use.Wet:Even more issues (and these are supposed to be water shoes). The fabric almost seems to shrink a tiny bit when wet, and the band around the top of the shoes feels as if it contracts slightly, making then more difficult to both remove and put back on. Also, wet, the insole would come out with my foot about 20% of the time.Bottom line:For the beach, with infrequent removal, these might be an ideal shoe, particularly at this price point. For any other water use, get something that doesn't have the 'stone magnet' holes in the bottom of the shoe and has a little more 'flex' around the edge, to make it easier to remove/put on, when wet.Completely off topic, but somehow strangely related, the trash man picks up on Wednesday, which is when these shoes and I part ways.

Second pair. Have these for the whole family. We live in these on vacation from hotel to pools, to beach and to dinner.

Get these if you are going on long distances through water. Went on a marathon hike (26.3 miles in 14 hrs) with 25 river crossings. I was the only one in my group with water designed shoes (people had chacos, crocs, boots and running shoes) after 26 miles with wet feet I was the only one without blisters on my feet. Only bad side is dirt and mud come up through the drainage holes.

Just came back from vacation and these worked out perfect for the trip. Used them at the beach as well as short hikes through the rain forest. Was able to use them while swimming under the waterfalls, where it was rocky. And I didn’t feel like I had squishy wet feet afterwards, as the water runs out of them pretty well.

bought to cross streams when out hiking, to keep from getting my hiking boots soaked. Used once and worked for the purpose but after drying they completely fell apart.

Oh my god what Junk! No flexibility whatsoever. It’s like wearing lead weights.I will be returning these! Oh, and I almost forgot, they are so slippery that when wearing them in the kitchen it was like ice-skating. No kidding, I almost fell down and broke my neck.

These are very comfortable with socks. I wear them around like regular shoes and they are awesome. When I’m ready to go fishing I just kick my socks off and they preform extremely well in the water
