Aleader Men's Xdrain Venture 2.0 Water Shoes ALL BLACK / 7 Reviews

4.5 Rating 151 Reviews
Got these water shoes for a trip to hawaii and they worked great. lightweight but have good grip on the bottom, wore them ziplining on a wet day with no problems slipping around. They don't have as much support as real shoes so after a full day of walking around in them I could tell my feet were a little sore but it was bearable. They did have an awful chemical smell upon arrival and it took days of airing out for the smell to dissipate. The only big negative was after wearing them at the beach it was very hard to get the sand out (rather impossible) and lots of little pebbles got stuck in the bottom treads, but overall decent value for what you get. I read a review that the men's sizes fit better than the women's version of this so went with the smallest guy size as I normally wear an 8.5 womens and they fit just a tiny bit big which I expected. Two other family members bought this same brand for the trip and liked them a lot just same complaints about trying to get fine-grain sand out of the inside of their shoes.

- As others have said, the fit is right on. I wear a 10.5 shoe, ordered that size in these and they are a perfect fit. When I first went to put them on, I thought they were too small. It seemed a tight fit to get them ON, but once they were on, it was perfect.- I bought these for canoe trips. We launch from boat launches, sandy beaches, rocky flats, grass along river banks and ponds, dirt parking lots... you name it. I wanted something that I could put on at home, drive to the body of water, paddle around and then put it back in the truck and head home. These do all of that, providing good protection.- I was concerned that the sole seemed kind of hard, thus inclined to be more of a danger on slippery surfaces. They still surprise me because they DO seem hard, but they also are rubbery enough to mold to the rocks or whatever and provide more than acceptable traction. Be careful, they won't make you Spiderman, but they will make your footing more secure.- I've washed them a couple times with no ill effect. We have one of the newer washers that does NOT have the agitator in the middle, so that might help them survive a wash better.- Lastly, although I correctly chose "All Day" for how long can I wear them comfortably, it should be noted that there isn't much walking. I'm pretty much sitting on the canoe seat.

Suitable for my purposes of kayaking for half a day and doing a bit of walking to and from the launch site with wet feet. These shoes are inexpensive and fully satisfactory for what I needed. Walk all day through creeks, mud or sand? I can't say. Maybe, but I would be wearing boots instead. As for the gaudy blue pair that I bought, they were a little less expensive than the same shoes in more restrained colors and that was good enough for me. No one really sees me wear them, so their overly colorful appearance means little to me.

I only wear these shoes in an indoor pool doing water aerobics program developed as part of my ongoing physical therapy.I needed aqua shoes with arch support and drainage holes in soles,so I could maintain my balance and complete my workout as painlessly as possible. These shoes were a good price. I was surprised to find the navy felt, faded to grey, after regular use and washes. See the pictures. I wear and wash them a minimum of three times weekly, sometimes more. I wouldn't wear these to the beach, as they do not look sturdy enough to stand the sand and rocks but they are great in the pool. Easy on, easy off and an insole that is removable.

Shoes fit about a half size big. They worked great floating the Guadalupe river and when not in the water I folded the back in and wore them like slides. Comfortable to wear all day on all surfaces never slipped but I could see where it wouldn't hurt to have had a bit more traction on the bottom.

These are very nice and comfortable water shoes. They look nice too. IF you plan on wearing them in the water and don't want them to come off, I suggest you order a half size smaller than your regular shoe size. Caution, they are listed in US shoe size; but they are actually European. I ordered a 10-1/2 which is my normal shoe size and they came with the only markings being a 45 European shoe size. I wear a 44 in EU, so I returned them and ordered a 10 which came as a EU 44 which fit great.

very good water shoe, but don't be fooled, these are NOT slippers. I have worn them wade fishing and they have good bottoms over rocks and shells to protect the feet. The water drains well and the shoes dry quickly. The vent holes on the bottom will pick up small pebbles but that is small price to pay for he excellent drainage. They are comfortable but I got carried away and went fishing with no other shoes to change into. I fished for a few hours and they were comfortable, but I kept them on and went shopping, etc. To make a long story short I got a blister on one toe. I now wear them just for wading or kayaking but change out as soon as I'm back on shore. for this they are perfect.
