Aleader Women's Xdrain Classic Knit Water Shoes WHITE/LIGHT GRAY/KNIT / 6 US Reviews

4.6 Rating 286 Reviews
I have used Keen, Speedo, Kombu and many other brands in the past. None of them are as light weight and comfortable as these are! The material is flexible and does not rub rough on your feet. The soles are well ventilated along with the material on the top, so they dry quickly and your feet do not stay wet for long. I use water shoes at water parks, while hiking, on the river, while boating on the ocean, and while going to theme parks on vacation. My only problem with these shoes is that they do run a little small, and only come in full sizes. I usually wear a size 6.5, I ordered a 7, and they are a little small. My toes go all the way to the edge of the shoe. Other than that, these shoes are extremely comfortable, well made, and the perfect water shoe! I'm ordering size 8's now and will update my review after I get them.

I have had these shoes several weeks now and have used them for water aerobics and at the beach. Really love the extra support they give to the arches. The only reason these shoes didn't get 5 stars is that the tongue is kind of a pain to get straight when trying to get the shoes on. It tends to fold on the corners or move a bit during activity. That being said--the water classes I am taking are very vigorous--lots of movement, etc. It's possible other people wouldn't experience this problem except maybe when getting the shoes on. I would purchase these again--and have recommended them to many people in my water aerobics classes. They are also fairly quick drying--I just leave them out on the porch and they are dry for the next day's classes.

Fit true to size! I was debating whether to get a size 6.5 or 7 as I often struggle between the two sizes being the right fit with shoes. Since I usually wear size 7 with sneakers, I decided to take a chance and relieved I did. They are light fit and comfortable. However, the inside 'tongue' where tag is located first scratched my foot. I decided to fold in the outer edges so the tongue is still intact but provided protection from the tag and it def spared the scratchy feeling. They are stylish and look like sneakers. My boyfriend even complimented was glad I ordered him a pair arriving Monday. I bought for walking on rocky beaches at cape cod and tested them today. I did not slip and glided right over the rocks. Upon climbing up the jetty as well as bicycling, they were comfortable and did not slip off the heel. I have not gone in the water due to weather but I'm optimistic as the shoe contains many holes to let the water and rocks out. So far, very happy!

This shoe has a lot of great things going for it. I wore these at home for a couple of hours when they arrived and then wore them the next day at a theme park - lots of stairs, rides, rain, and puddles. I have not yet used these in a pool or on the beach, but I'm looking forward to using these shoes for those activities. They would be great for wearing on a rocky shore or in a lake or river. These shoes have few drawbacks for someone who is overweight or deals with foot issues, such as plantar fasciitis.Advantages: - Style and materials are fantastic for a water shoe. They are light and the construction and materials reduces water drag. - Water can drain from anywhere on the shoe - top, bottom, sides - Excellent traction, even on wet slick tile. No slipping at all on any wet surface! - Very little rubbing or irritation during the first full day of wear. - Extremely lightweight. Perfect for traveling! - Easy to slip on and off.Disadvantages: - Ordering the right size is a challenge. After reading all the reviews, I ordered my true size. If I were to order again, I would try a half size smaller. - Not enough arch support or cushion for someone who is overweight or has foot pain to walk around in all day. At the theme parks, I wore these with arch support sleeves which helped me get through a long day of climbing up and down stairs and walking across lots of concrete. I was comfortable for most of the day. However, the moment I walked through a puddle the sleeve got wet from water coming up through the bottom of the shoe and they and stayed wet all day. - After 12 hours of use, the top outside edge of the shoe was rubbing my foot. (They were comfortable for most of the day. Considering it was the first full day I wore the shoes, they performed admirably.) - The insole is rough. Actually, the entire shoe has a rough texture. It isn't bad for wearing for short periods of time without socks, but I would wear a thin sock of some kind for longer periods - NOT an ideal solution.Overall, I'm glad that I purchased these shoes. I would not run in them or climb a mountain in them, but they really weren't designed for those activities. They were a good value for the money and I'm looking forward to trying them at the lake and the beach.

Just what I was looking for. A shoe that can get wet, drains water very quickly, and provides cushion for my heels when the sand is concrete hard. They work well as water (swimming) shoes as well, provide excellent protection for sole of foot and do not feel like they are going to come off. If worn in soft, sinking, wet sand they do hold a lot of sand; not made for that. Great for biking to the beach, walking through dry sand, and walking on packed sand in the water. My husband saw mine and wanted a pair of his own! The grommets around the shoe laces have rusted after just 5 days of use and have left a stain on the surrounding fabric; pretty disappointing.

SIZE: These definitely run a half size large. I'm normally a solid women's 8, but can also wear a 7.5 - so happy I ordered both sizes due to reading the conflicting reviews. The 7.5 fit MUCH bette and I'm currently returning the size 8! With free returns, I suggest that you do the same if you're in between sizes.WEARABILITY: Granted I've only walked around my apartment with these shoes on, but I have to say these are SO comfy and feel just like my Nike tennis shoes. Additionally, they are easy to get on and off, but seem snug enough to stay on in the water (which these shoes haven't been subjected to just yet - rafting trip is this coming weekend!).APPEARANCE: You can't even tell they're water shoes, they seriously look just like another pair of tennis shoes, all thanks to the shoe lace look these shoes have. They are just stretchy enough/expand enough that you can slide your foot in and then use the loop on the back to help get the back of the shoe on, while still keeping it tight on your foot. My only complaint is that the shoe sole is more of a gray than a white, which is depicted in the photo.

I recently had a total knee replacement and will be getting the other one replaced also. I had done aqua physical therapy prior to surgery and felt stable and safe on the wet pool deck wearing Oofos flip-flops which are preferred by lifeguards. Since returning to the pool (I'm still using a cane), I have been a bit terrified of getting out of the pool onto the wet deck and dressing rooms. My husband has been accompanying me to the pool to help be navigate safely. I had never tried a water shoe in my life. I must say, today was a new day for me, wearing my Aleader Water Shoes! Not only did they help make walking in the pool easier and doing my pool exercises easier, when I got out of the water I felt very stable and now feel a new sense of independence. I would highly reccommend these shoes if you exercise in a pool and need to feel stable. Also, I just wore them in the shower, another place where folks recovering from TKR often feel fearful. I followed the advice of a number of reviewers who said order down regarding size. I usually wear an 8, 8 1/2 or 9 depending on the shoe. I have wider feet than a true medium. I ordered the Water Shoe in 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly. Snug enough to not slip off in the water but not too snug to be uncomfortable for the several hours at a time I will be wearing them. If you have an aging parent that might risk falling in the shower, these would make a great gift. I am so grateful to find these shoes.

I bought these shoes for use at the beach, but I find that I wear them EVERY DAY at home because of how comfortable they are. They are perfect for sandy terrain, and the mesh-like fabric makes them easy to rinse. They dry extremely quickly and are low maintenance. You can put them in the washer and air dry without any problem. My only negative observation is that small rocks do tend to get stuck in the bottom of these shoes. Kind of a pain having to pick them out on a regular basis.I own these in black and the teal green color, and I'm getting ready to buy a couple more today. They're cute enough to wear to the grocery store and on school runs!
