“So I purchased these shoes for a cave tubing activity a week or so ago. There was a small hike on a rocky path and even though i didnt feel it, many little rocks were embeded in my shoe(see pictures). I ended up wearing them almost everyday on my 4 day trip, with no socks and had no issues. So they were great for walking around, the beach, short hiking (we did 1-2miles up hill) and overall good water shoes. I didn't notice the rocks until I got back home and unpacked my suitcase. It was definitely a pain to get the rocks out, but overall I still like the comfort and ease of the shoe. I got the gray ones, my shoe size is 9.5 and I got a size 10, I had no issues, no uncomfortable rubbing of the shoe and didn't slip off. Definitely recommend for water activities.”
“I got these to wear to Hawaii. They fit exactly as expected, and were WAY more comfortable than expected! I thought I would wear them during water activities, but not long term -- but they're just as comfortable as tennis shoes. Wore them on a several mile hike with a BRUTAL mile uphill, and while my muscles were dying, I didn't have to think about my feet at all! (I have persnickety feet and usually need comfortable old lady shoes, so that's saying something.)Only downside is that I had rocks and pebbles get stuck in the ridges on the sole (and into the shoe through the mesh) constantly -- but that's not the shoe's fault, it's just the nature of lava rock beaches!”
“These shoes are amazing! I highly recommend them! I just got back from Havasupai and used them (without socks) to hike to Beaver Falls. This hike is 3-4 miles, climbing up and down a wet wooden ladder to Mooney Falls, crossing the river multiple times, and some more ladders. My ankle was hurting from my hiking boots, so I figured I would at least try to wear these water shoes (with socks) on the hike out. I wore them the whole way! For those who don't know, this is a 10 mile hike and I was carrying a 30 pound pack. My socks and shoes had a bit of sand once I took them off, but they were extremely comfortable.Buy them!”
“Bought these to bring with me soon on my trip to Mexico when I am visiting the Xplor adventure park. Wanted something a little more supportive than my usual stretchy water shoe. This one is indeed sturdier and has more style, looks like regular running shoes. Only thing in the black on white style, the bottom is actually grey, not white, which doesnt bother me cause the white would have gotten dirty and turned grey anyway, but was not what I expected, so just giving a heads up. Im usually a 7.5/8 in shoes, more often an 8 when I want to make sure I'm comfortable, but I sized down to the 7.5 in these because of the reviews and I'm so glad I did because they fit perfectly and the laces are not real so they do not provide additional tightness around your foot. Good support as-is but will put in an insole to be safe for additional arch support. Will update my review after my trip.”
“I wore these on a trip to Havasupai Falls in the Grand Canyon. I wore them to hike from one waterfall to the next and to wear into the waterfalls. In total, I probably hiked 10-11 miles in these shoes, wore them to scaffold a mountain, and into several waterfalls. They were really easy to hike in. They are very light, have a good grip, and are very comfortable. The only issue is that little pebbles got into them very easily. I had to take my shoes off several times to get them out to continue the hike in comfort. The did run big. I got them a half size smaller and they still had a little room.Overall, I was really happy with the purchase!”
“I bought these shoes for a summer spent working at a gravelly waterfront. I usually wear between an 8 and a 9 in women's shoes, do I split the difference and got an 8.5, but I really wish I'd gotten an 8. They were just a touch too big. They also wore through much faster than I would have liked; if you're planning to wear them on sand, they'll be great! But on a rocky beach, pebbles fill up every whole in the bottom and wear through or break the material. They do, however, look like regular shoes, which is awesome -- no ugly water socks here. All in all, I was reasonably happy with them. I only needed them to last 3 months, and they made it, with a few holes.”
“So far, I love them! They're very stylish and a much better design than any watershoe i've owned before. The velcro used to always wear out or tear away on my old shoes; these don't need velcro. The holes allow water drainage like I've never had before. The tread is much thicker than any water shoes I've had before too. When I use them for kayaking and light river wading, I take the insole out for even better water drainage. Taking it out makes it slightly less comfortable but when I'm not walking much it's perfect. It's easy to remove and replace the insole anyway, and you can adjust for the occasion.Update: Three years later, I LOVE these. They are the best water shoes I have ever owned. They are starting to wear out. The elastic shoe laces are stretched out which makes the shoe fit more loosely and occasionally slide off. The elastic laces are sewn in and would be difficult to replace. I will definitely repurchase these same shoes when they do wear out enough to warrant replacement.”
“I bought these shoes for our vacation to Mexico and I was so glad I did. I usually wear a 9, so I ordered a 9, and they fit well. They slip on and off easy, have great cushion, are wide enough to accommodate my wide feet, and they didn't rub my foot anywhere. They also look just like tennis shoes so I was able to wear them in the airport and save room in my bag. I wore them to the beach several times and the only thing that bugged me is they hold a lot of sand when wet, but once I rinsed them off and gave them a good shake, they were fine. I was also really glad I had them when we went on excursions because I could go from water to hot surfaces and not burn the bottom of my feet. Plus, they were comfortable to walk long distances in. I didn't try to swim in them, mostly because I'm not a great swimmer anyway, but they never felt heavy when they were wet so I don't think they would've hindered me. I wore them everyday we were on vacation and they help up very well. I have a few loose strings around the tag on the tongue, but the shoes are in good condition and will get several more uses. I'm actually going to order my husband a pair because he was wishing he had them on our excursion.Overall, good price, great product, and I'm glad I bought them.”
