Aleader Women's Xdrain Classic Knit Water Shoes WHITE/LIGHT GRAY/KNIT / 6 US Reviews

I row crew and wear them before and after being in the boat. Easy on and easy off is very important for me and these excel in that regard. I also think they look good, are lightweight and comfortable for regular wear, and when you wear them in water the moisture drains instantly. Also, the soles are stout enough to protect my feet from the jagged rocks we have to traverse when carrying our shell to the waters edge.

I bought these shoes for hiking under wet conditions. Today, I wore them on a quick 12-mile hike, and they performed far beyond my expectations. First, they are far more solidly than one would expect out of a ~25.00 shoe. At 4.7 oz/ shoe for my size 11 pair, they feel like you are floating slightly off the ground. As the old hiker's adage goes, "an ounce on the feet, a pound on the back. The soft rubber soles provide really excellent traction comparable to my Vibram-soled Merrill trail runners. at 8.7 oz. per shoe. The soft rubber suggests that they won't last as long as the Merrill's, however. Considering that I paid four times as much for the Merrills, I don't mind a bit. I wouldn't do a thru-hike with them, but for a weekend warrior hike, they can't be beat, especially if you're expecting a lot of stream crossings or wet weather. If you require a bit more toe splay that average (I do), I'd suggest ordering them a half-size up. (I normally wear a 10.5, and the 11's didn't squeeze my toes at all. The lack of arch support isn't a problem since I wear only zero-drop shoes anyway. The mesh design and holes in the soles are a real plus. They dry like a flash. Adequate front-of foot support.

I have wide feet and sensitive skin. This soft, stretchy shoe fit great and was very comfortable. I wore them on a trip to Mexico. I wore them all day around the resort and they were cool and comfortable. I also wore them swimming in cenotes. The traction was excellent for getting up and down the sometimes very slippery stairs. The soles have drain holes in them that are somewhat stretchy too. After walking on the rocky ground going to the cenotes I noticed there were little pebbles stuck in the holes that plugged them and made the shoe not drain as well. My husband's shoes were a different brand, but had the same problem. I was able to pick the pebbles out, but it did chew up my finger nails a little bit. If I had known this would happen, I would have brought something to use to pry the pebbles out.

I needed some watershoes for a trip abroad that had a sole & toe bump, but also be attractive for pictures. Also, these fit as others said they would.Few things to note:1) If your going anyplace with small rocks, they get stuck in the openings of the sole very very well but easy to remove when you bend the shoe.2) I put on the shoes in the shallows with the waves coming in so quite a bit of sand got in the shoe with my foot - that won't come out unless you take it off and remove the sand.3) These shoes can hoard sand like it's their job! After a good rinsing & air dry I beat them together for minutes and sand continued to shake out - I gave up before the sand did! Didn't even know that much sand was in them by looking at them!4) The shoe inserts come out easily for cleaning.Happy trails!
