“I bought this as an experiment to see what man-made reeds are like. Its early days yet and I'm still not sure about plastic reeds. They have a very smooth texture which makes your mouthpiece slide on your bottom lip a little too easily - perhaps its just that its different compared to natural cane reeds and needs some getting used to. Sound is ok throughout the tenor sax range and certainly seems resistant to 'squeeking' if you get it wrong. I think this is a 'persevere' project, to use when practicing, but at the moment I'm sticking with natural reeds for mainstream playing”
