“This is a great book for teaching 3rd position - clearly explained and thoroughly covered, step by step, providing exercises alongside pieces which can be initially played without articulation embellishments to establish fingering in shifted position, then expressive elements added afterwards. A ‘wish’ would be to have some audio backing tracks for pieces, via download, but this would, of course, add to the present very affordable price! An excellent tutor book - highly recommended!”
