“This is a very useful book of a selection of repertoire songs for the beginner level. It has a mix of traditional, general repertoire, plus some musical theatre/film pieces - all which can be used as material for the ABRSM exams, should you/your student want to use them for these. The cd/download code provides you with piano accompaniment backing tracks too. The only addition of genre that I would have liked to have been included would be some more contemporary rock/pop classics but I’m presuming this is omitted because ABRSM do not include this style in their exams - shame ...”
