“Arrived on time. Lots of black and white notes and a healthy number above the stave for tenors and sops. Our choral society is preparing the Mass in C rather than the Solemnis as originally planned to take account of Zoom rehearsals, though very useful, not being the real thing. Solemnis later perhaps; more tricky than the Mass in C. Will this do? I just wanted to see the difference between the two. Keep safe. Alex Munro.”

“A great work that is getting more performances, perhaps because it is no longer taken at unsingably slow speeds. This vocal score is almost error-free, sensibly laid out, and it is reasonably priced.”
