“Definitely worth paying extra for the Extended edition, for the convenience of having the scales printed in the book, and the fact that some of my favourite pieces are only in the Extended edition. Only 4 stars because am I the only one who thinks audio downloads are a step backwards from the convenience of a CD? My students are unlikely to bother to download them, from their reaction when I point it out. Instead of the audio, I would rather they had provided the exercises (a) and (b) from the 2021-23 book.”
