“This Workbook is very clearly laid out and easy to use/find the areas of learning required. It is also really helpful how, in this newer edition, that the associated pages, of the AB Guide to Theory of Music, are numbered so that the student can find the relevant pages more easily (both for referencing information and checking their answers!). I would love to see an edition made specifically for younger learners, with more examples for each area, more younger child-friendly layout and explanations. How about it, ABRSM?!”

“This is a very useful workbook, allowing the student to practise theory, in a written form, at home, in conjunction with theory in a practical context with the teacher in their instrumental lesson. The book is set out well with clear exercises and some information. This could be supported with Eric Taylor's 'Theory of Music Part One', or alongside the new 'Discovering Theory of Music', also by ABRSM.”
