“The 3 stars I have given are for the necklace itself, which actually deserves 5 stars as it is lovely and very well made and beautifully packaged, but I had to knock a couple of stars off for the purchase as a whole which has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I have ever had. The necklace took 5 weeks before it was delivered, so late for my Niece's 30th birthday and the reason it took 5 weeks is because even though this business is a UK business and the designers are UK based and customer services are apparently in the UK, however, what is not made clear anywhere on the website (certainly nowhere obvious I could find) is the custom name jewellery is made/put together in the far east, which in itself I have no issue with that as long as the workers are treated well and paid a fair wage, but it should be made clear that you will not be receiving your custom item anytime soon as you have to give at least 2-3 weeks of travelling time it seems. I ordered this necklace on January 9th and it was finally delivered on February 14th. The updates I was getting, told me that the necklace was made by January 15th and was now in the polishing stage, then that was it, silence for about 2-3 weeks, which I now realise was the travelling time for the item to reach the warehouse/dispatch centre here in the UK for final quality checks. I contacted customer services a couple of times which you can only really do via online chat, there is no contact phone number and even though the ones I chatted with were nice enough, they weren't really of much help. I had to request further help from someone higher up and was emailed by a team leader who was a bit more helpful and they were the one that gave me the info about the items being made/put together in the far east. I am sure once I have been able to see my Niece to gift this to her, she will love it, but I Just think the fact these items are made & dispatched to the UK from the far east needs to be made very clear on the website just so prospective buyers are fully aware before deciding on purchasing or not.”
