“The delivery and ordering was spot on.... the whisky however, wasn't as good as hoped. There's a harshness to it that masks the flavour, even after adding a drop of water. You can sort of tell what the flavours are supposed to be doing but you don't get there because of how strong the upfront taste is. Bit of a shame but worth a try.”
“I have memories of tasting this on a distillery tour when we were in Kirkwall. I have regretted not purchasing a bottle then. But the fact this deal was a LOT cheaper removes the regret. My memory has not faded, this whisky is just magic. Absolutely wonderful full flavour, has brought back memory of the tour and the bottle looks good. Slainte!”
