“This foam underlay was a rip off, because after paying £70 plus for two packs(&39.99). I later found out that it cost £18 a pack on amazon. I was so devastated I couldn’t believe it , such a ripoff by discount flooring direct . On discount flooring direct ,website it called Acoustic Pro 5mm Underlay (9.76m2 Coverage) but when you actually get the package, it is label as XPS Foam Underlay 5mm Wood and Laminate Underlay (1 Pack (9.76m2)) which exactly the same on amazon.”

“Very poor quality underlay and expensive for what it is, thin foam matting usually throw away in as unwanted packing material.”

“This underlay is made from recycled materials which is good and is black with a texture of dense polystyrene. Also they are very easy to cut for positioning compared to the green fibrous variety which shed itchy spores out like fibre glass. Certainly a more than adequate product that cushions the laminate boards very well.”
