“Tom has been teaching me for a while now i am enjoying the lessons so so much! He inspires me every time we have a llesson, we have a great rapport and if ever I'm struggeling with something he breaks it down in such a way that makes it really understandable. I was really nervous when I first met Tom but he instantly made me feel comfortable and relaxed, long may the lessons continue!”

“Having been a "self taught" player for over ten years, I had reached a block in my playing abilities which led me to play less and less as I was frustrated with my lack of progress and only being able to play simple guitar tabs. However, after one week of doing YGA's electric guitar courses, I had corrected so many fundamental errors in my playing and learnt more about technique and theory then I did in 10 years of watching random Youtube videos and learning tabs. Dan really is a great teacher who explains everything at a perfect pace, not too fast that you can't keep up and not too slow that you get bored, and does a great job of weaving the techniques and theories he teaches into practice with actual songs to learn at the end of each section. Overall YGA has reignited my love of playing the guitar and most importantly I'm having more fun playing now then I ever had done before.”

“Dan Grice is my tutor and in all fairness the guy knows his stuff, a little frustrating because he often makes it look easy, but you soon realise its all the hard work, practice and effort he puts into his craft that makes it look easy. He runs lessons at a pace that suits me and has a sharp ear to help iron out the little minor points that make all the difference. He's also willing to go the extra mile and make short video files of the homework requirements which I've found to be an invaluable learning aid. overall the guy gets a 9/10 would be a 10/10 but I figure he may get to read this and I got to keep him on his toes :-)”

“Simone is truly a talented teacher! I had no experience whatsoever playing guitar but he has made it as simple as possible for me to learn the basics and to start playing my first songs. My technique has been improving since day one and all the notions I learn everyday are adding up to my musical knowledge, making it easy and fun for me to practice. The Academy's website is great and I am also very pleased with the online material. I am always looking forward to my lessons and I think that pretty much sums it all up!”
