My sisters ordered my the 7 day treatbox for my birthday. I recommend treatbox as I've ordered from them before for myself and others , and the items have always been of great quality. However, the 7 day advent calendar birthday I've just received was extremely disappointing. Day 1 was the happy news paper (not really a gift!) Then other items were a notepad, socks (which are lovely and soft), face mask, necklace, candle...they were OK items but not as exciting/special as I thought for the birthday treat box. And the final gift on my birthday was a cookie which was a huge let down. It's just a large cookie/biscuit ...doesn't really scream ' birthday'. I just know I've had better quality products before (as have my family and friends who I've bought for before)

First of all, what a beautiful idea and concept. Treatbox has loads of amazing things to choose from. I brought the wallet card and have to say I wasn’t impressed with the quality. I Can hardly see the photo let alone the writing but because it was for my baby’s dad’s birthday I had to roll with it as it was his first gift from our boy. I had nothing else. It came with a happy birthdays notes card which was such a lovely tough, however, I flipped the card over and someone had written on it exactly the same as what was written on the wallet card. This would have been a perfect opportunity for me to write a personal message on it. Such a shame.

I’ve previously used Treatbox and have been very happy with its contents but the last one i ordered for my daughter who was recuperating from an operation was a bit of a let down and not worth the amount I paid for it.

Very disappointing and overpriced, the cost probably represents the packaging. Will make my own treat box up next time.

I bought this as a gift for myself for finishing my a levels. I have had many boxes before as presents from family members so I like to support the small business. The box arrived and there was 4 paper clips, a hanging sign, a pin, a drawstring bag and an out of date hand sanitizer, that went out of day over a year before I received it. I contacted customer service and it took a couple of days but they organised a replacement item but when it arrived it was a hand cream and the packaging was dirty. I don’t think I got value for money at all and this experience has put me off from purchasing again. I really do like this business and have supported since around 2017 but I think to be safe if you are ordering do a build your own box because then you know you will be happy with the products, and hopefully they aren’t out of date.

Disappointed in the quality of the products, especially the slogan bags. The first one I received, the logo had been ironed on but this was starting to come off and it had been ironed over a large piece of thread. I was sent a replacement but this was in a worse condition, the logo hadn't even been ironed on straight! I was also underwhelmed by the box they are presented in - a plain brown box. I expected something pretty. I will make my own hamper up next time.

I ordered a ‘just for you box’ for birthday gift, they received socks and a face mask. As the person has a skin condition the mask is a complete waste, so really disappointing I had the in correct order sent. I had good communication with treat box after the order was incorrectly sent however they request the incorrect order be sent back. By the time I had managed to ask when my family member over 230 miles away a time and date to have the incorrect order made she had worn the socks. Which is great she wasn’t to disappointed by the birthday gift she could still use socks. I have now had to make a re order of the original just for you box so she does receive a gift she can make full use of, and is personal to her. I hope this second order goes as planned. First time using treat box, given a seconds chance to redeem what can be put down to human error and go from there. It is disappointing you rely on gifts for birthday from businesses and it doesn’t work out.

The whole point of this product is surely that you select exactly what you want the recipient to receive. Items were completely different from those selected and the words on the product not really suitable.

So we bought the 7 day birthday advent calendar for our friend who is in her late 30s. We paid £42 for the box with a cocktail which should have signalled that this wasn't a child's box. The gifts were all massively childish, and included a key ring saying 'you're bloomin marvellous", a mug and pink heart socks appropriate for a 7 year old, a pressed flower necklace (?), a pack of sweets and an unbranded pink bubble bath. I think at most the value was about £10 and I'm really disappointed. The only reason I'm not giving this one star is because it would actually be good for a 7 year old and maybe I was at fault as I should have realised it wasn't for older women or maybe I missed that information (if that was the case why are they offering cocktails?) I mistakenly interpreted that the gifts would be better because they ask if you want sample size or full size so I thought she would be getting actual products.

It didn’t seem worth the money tbh but the biggest issue for me was it asks if you want to add a cocktail for £4 but they don’t add it they replace one item with it & still charge extra

Lovely packaging and wrapping of items. Only downfall of the birthday countdown is the price.. you pay so so much but the items value are so cheap for what you pay for? I understand you'd not get the moneys completely worth but I mean really cheap items in value overall. They're lovely don't get me wrong and again the packaging is lovely. But yeah personally wouldn't recommend to people or would buy again due to that reason. X

The fact that the TreatBox was delivered to the wrong address- causing delay in delivery date -causing dismay and disappointment to the person who was to receive the TreatBox. Extremely disappointing!. I highlighted this at the time to TreatBox only to be advised Royal Mail at fault, I rcvd the photographic proof of delivery from the Royal Mail to a completely different address. My husband visited the suspected addresses TWICE to collect the TreatBox to no avail. On his rd attempt he was able to collect the TreatBox. TreatBox was received well after the intended and requested date. Very disappointed! Highlighted this situation with TreatBox at the time. The response was to look at a neighbouring door with same frontage as on the Royal Mail photo.... Will not recommend to family or friends.

Unfortunately I can’t do a review as it still hasn’t been delivered . It was a gift for a friend whose mum passed away and although it was despatched on Jan 23rd it is still with Royal Mail .

Really disappointed that the shortbread star was broken when it arrived. Seller explained she had no control of how the delivery is handled and assured me it didn’t go out broken. True but no offer of a replacement is not my standard of customer service so won’t be using again.

I got really small items (small chocolate bar and tiny bag of cookies) looked much bigger on photos but my fault for not reading small print. Last time I was really happy with my box, but this time I chose wrong.

I wanted to try a different advent this year, and after watching the unwrapping of the 2022 treatbox advent, decide to take the plunge. At £95 I thought it was a tad expensive, but there has been a cost of living crisis and I was hopeful for some lovely surprises. Firstly I was dissapointed with the wrapping, I'm into traditional Christmas colours and pink and brown I felt, wasn't very festive. ( just my opinion) As for the gifts I was even more disappointed, a colour your own 4 peices of card advent on day 1 and a sew your own felt tree decoration on day 2!!. The two stars were for the braclet, the earings, the socks, the pen and the tree bauble ( although not my colour choice, a friend loved it) . The tiny bag of popcorn and teeny biscuits were a joke. Along with soap, hand sanitiser and hair srunchies, not my cup of tea! ( again just my opinion) And I'm afraid I definately won't be ordering again. Back to Ritual, Boots or Tedbaker for me.
