“TVA have been really helpful on the phone and very positive about us returning a product that we bought in error, although we'll probably just sell it locally due to shipping costs. The correct product we later bought isn't perfect though. The instruction leaflet isn't clear about which way round the roof rails should be fitted and is actually incorrect when it tells you to put one type of screw on the rear and middle, and the other on the rear, leaving you to have to guess where the mistake is and hence which screw is supposed to go on the front. There's not much point having an instruction leaflet if the instructions are wrong.”

“Transit Custom Sport Octane V2 Running Boards.Delivery was ok and the Boards seem good but I have only given it 3 stars because the fitting instruction are very poor for the sport model. I had to adjust where the front and middle fixings went as they don't go low enough to allow the boards to go under the sill trim on the sport model if fitted as indecated in the instructions I would prefere if the front fixing went further to the front end of the running board on the right side for more support when stood on”

“Easy ordering and delivery (although delivery is a bit pricy). Ordered some Atlas V1 roof bars but one of them was incorrect length. Contacted TVA and advice was to either cut to length myself or send it back for replacement. Decided to cut it myself for expediency, luckily it went ok but would have preferred not to have to. Roof bars themselves are good though, nice aero profile, non whilst even without rubber insert.”

“These roof racks was made out of drawings, but they never tried them. So they don’t fit of course. The x4 spread bars are 20mm too long as they cannot fit fully into those plastic pockets due to the holes in them protruding in 10 mm each, so overall I had to cut 20mm each aluminium bar. Also those shim to go under are 3d printed and of course don’t fit, they’re very poorly made, I don’t give them a long life due to UV radiation and exposed to whole elements. Also why there’s only one hole to screw into van roof when there’s 2? When they drilled one they should drill another one to have as optional, this would make it stronger, the roof rack is holding only by 6 screws , there should be 12 to make it more sturdy. Overall it was easy to install ect. Super fast delivery though.”

The roof rails and cross bars you purchased are manufactured using an anodised aluminium construction that has been tested to withstand the UK weather. The strength and durability of the roof rail is not compromised in any way with the design of using only one of the 2 bolt points on each of the original mounting points. These roof rails and cross bars still carry a load capacity of 75kgs.
