I have not used the product yet but it appears to be sound and in its original box. The DPD driver who delivered the product was a cretinous moron. Despite being left instructions to leave product on a small porch at my front door He dumped the product, a box weighing 17.5 kgs on a 77 yr old neighbour who has suffered two heart attacks in the past year. He had no authority to leave this delivery with a neighbour. The product as far as I can tell is fine the delivery was not.

Regarding your experience with DPD's delivery service, they offer a variety of delivery options for customers. For instance, you can choose to have your parcel delivered to a pickup shop, left with a neighbour, or placed in a safe location if you are not going to be home. These options can be authorised through your tracking email or the DPD app. The option to leave the parcel with a neighbour is a standard feature provided by most couriers if the recipient is unavailable. While the neighbour isn't required to accept the parcel, DPD is permitted to attempt delivery to them when the recipient is not at home, as stated in our terms and conditions. Positive: - Superfast next day free delivery on my order. - Safe packaging. - Official Makita dealer. Negative: - One of 4 items - 18V battery arrived functional but damaged body. Two defects probably caused by dropping the item. Also multiple scratches. Could not been damaged during shipping because package had plenty of wraps. - The ToolStore UK site does not tell you when it logs you out. I started browsing the site being logged in. By the time I paid for my order I was loggged out, therefore no history of my order in the account, moreover, no invoice available to extend Makita 3yrs warranty. - Beware of the prices. For some items you may get a very good deal, other items price is way higher than market average.

It’s okay. Very convenient, good run time on a 4ah battery. However the build quality seems below what I would expect from dewalt especially as not that cheap. The hinge is plastic and wobbles, why not make of metal. The design means it is not very balanced in weight unlike petrol variants with motor behind hand. The result is it is very hard on the shoulders and arms, and I am no weakling. I was also expecting that you could run in a short mode but no option for that.

Bought a dewalt nail gun a few days ago and went to recently use but had noticed that two screws are missing from the back. This didn't affect the operation of the tool but just didn't expect this.

As your order was placed on Friday evening after we had closed, it was processed on Monday when we re-opened and delivered on Tuesday which is what we would expect, as per our delivery terms. Description not clear enough, resulted in buying the wrong lawn mower. Wanted wireless electric. Now the wire got trapped under the lawn more and broke. Giving extra two stars for quick email responses.

Regarding the item you purchased from us, our website does clearly explain that this is a 240v machine meaning it is powered by being plugged into the mains electric, and therefore is not 'wireless'. It sounds like you were looking for a battery powered machine and these would not be classed as electric as they are powered by batteries. These are 2 different things, unfortunately. I hope this helps to clarify this for you. Had you realised that you had ordered the wrong item, we do accept returns within 30 days providing that the item is unused and in the original packaging, but unfortunately you have confirmed that this item has been used. Item arived incomplete in a patched up box. Obviously some of the contents were missing. On phoning the assistant said she would investigate what was missing and phone straight back. There was no contact until I 'phonrd again the next day. She then suggested I download the paperwork and print it out for myself I pointed out that I had bought and paid for a new hedge trimmer, not a reject or incomplete item. She then said she would source the original documentetion and send this to me by post This has now been done but it took a week. Not very satisfactory.

After spending £188 not happy to have to pay for return of drill box which I ordered by mistake for drill I bought from you I wish someone had told me that the drill would not fit in the box

Read on for power and cutting duration. This mower was selected because I have a fairly large garden. Circa 250 m2. With this mower I can cut grass in half the time I did with a smaller flymo. This is great. However, my experience is the mower does not give you 800 m2 cutting. I got about 100 m2 on the first cut (fairly long grass - 6 inches in places) using 2x 5A batteries so the first cut took quite some time while I had to recharge the batteries. I did a second cut which was skimming the top and got about 200 m2 with the same batteries. Run time is about 30 minutes. I also bought 2 6a 54v dual volt batteries. The run time was not much improved. Performance appears to be 200 - 250 m2 for 30 min run time. The advertised performance I believe should have given me 2 cuts across my lawn (circa 500m2) easily but it has been the opposite with two sets of batteries and half the distance travelled. [take note Mr Dewalt]. Mower is well built. It is quite heavy. Cut width is great for a mid size garden. Height adjustment easy and the mower coped well with long grass. Grass collection good. You will need to back the mower off if you have grass in the blade area because the bag is full. Easy to clean. Not had to fold down for storage but based on assembly it is quick and easy. Delivery and customer support excellent great help with my questions re batteries and run time.
