About Stringers Music:

Stringers of Edinburgh is one of Scotland’s longest established and most respected musical instrument dealers. We supply violins, violas, cellos and bows of all levels and offer the highest standard in repair and restoration. Stringers London opened in 2007 and over the past thirteen years has grown to become one of London's leading violin dealers. In both shops, all of our staff members are proficient string players, many are former or current teachers, and always happy to help and advise. All instruments are set up by our team of expert restorers in our on-site workshops and played and assessed by staff before going on sale.

Dear Harold. We understand you are disappointed not to have received your order in the timeframe expected, but to say we have provided poor, shoddy service is unfair and untrue. 1. You chose a free standard shipping service at checkout, where other options were available 2. Your order coincided with Royal Mail strikes which have affected many customers and businesses across the country and are beyond our control. We could not have foreseen how drastically strikes would have affected the backlog and further delays to deliveries in the days following strike action. 3. We replied immediately to your email enquiries apologising and offering to re-send your order if still undelivered once Royal Mail's delivery window has elapsed.
