About Stringers Music:

Stringers of Edinburgh is one of Scotland’s longest established and most respected musical instrument dealers. We supply violins, violas, cellos and bows of all levels and offer the highest standard in repair and restoration. Stringers London opened in 2007 and over the past thirteen years has grown to become one of London's leading violin dealers. In both shops, all of our staff members are proficient string players, many are former or current teachers, and always happy to help and advise. All instruments are set up by our team of expert restorers in our on-site workshops and played and assessed by staff before going on sale.

“The service received at Stringers exemplifies everything you would want from a string related music shop. Kate and Virginia epitomise grade A customer service from the very beginner to the classically trained performance artist. Stingers luthier Joe, demonstrates the master craftsmanship of a highly skilled craftsman whether it be for a repair of a damaged antique violin through to the installation of high tech geared German pegs. The entire staff are knowledgeable, helpful and demonstrate the friendliness that is the hallmark of Stringers and it is always a pleasure doing business with them.”
