Hello Theresa, we are a comparison site to allow people to compare companies. Due to the nature of the products and how varied they can be, we cannot provide prices ourselves. Upon request, the companies who come up as well-rated and in your area can provide prices for you.

“I had 4 companies approach me following my request to the comparison site. Stenna, BAW, Acorn and Companion. I went with companion last Friday afternoon as the salesman advised a 4 working days turnaround, which is important as my husband is being discharged soon from hospital. I was expecting the lift to be installed by Friday but today got a call telling me it won't be till the following Tuesday! I now have to negotiate with the hospital to keep my husband in longer as he can't climb stairs and we have no facilities to sleep or wash downstairs. A disappointing outcome which has led to further stress and worry for me, if I didn't have enough on my plate with my very poorly husband . So I can't recommend Companion to keep the salesman's promise, Acorn cancelled 2 appointments with me, BAW appear to be a young inexperienced company and Stenna are very expensive.”

“Do you want to be contacted by sales people from companies that they pass your details on to or do you simply want an estimate and then take it from there yourself? If it's the former then go ahead and they will have businesses phoning you. If you want to do your own comparison work then don't. This isn't CompareTheMarket. They don't provide prices, the companies phone you. I didn't like that aspect of what they offer.”

“My review is coloured by the fact that within minutes of registering i get asked to do a review of the facility offered. My first impression is that the site is very selective and not that many suppliers are linked to it. Presumably its a trade subscription site so you wonder why its not more popular with them. I was looking forward to reading comments about the range and quality of their service, range of products, whether they have a showroom etc, etc. Instead what you get is a list of service providers many of whom have, in my opinion prematurely, been given my contact details and no doubt will flood me with calls/emails asking me to use their services.”
