“The vent covers arrived on time, however, one of them was slightly damaged. They were packaged in a padded envelope, but somewhere in the delivery process a small part of the plastic was broken off. It didn't affect the fitting, but a bit more care in packaging / transport or the postal service would keep them intact.”

“I measure a company by how they react when things go a little awry. They dispatched a left hand window handle instead of a right hand one, an easy mistake to make. They apologised and immediately dispatched a replacement which arrived quicker than the original order. No fuss, no hassle, just great service and thoroughly appreciated. Will definitely use again. Thank you.”

“Order placed on 25th May. Confirmation of dispatch received on 26th May. After no items received on 1st June, I contacted CS to be informed that the goods had not been dispatched! They were to be sent out that day and I would almost certainly receive them on Monday 6th June, following Jubilee weekend. After a number of calls to your CS department on Monday 6th, it became clear that nothing was going to arrive then either. At this point I was out of time as due to leave country on 7th June, so had to replace all the old sash beading to secure property. My main issue is, why send out a confirmation of dispatch before you have dispatched the items?”

As advised during our calls the items had left with our courier but due to an issue routing to the correct depot and the long bank holiday weekend, the delivery did get held up. “Great service and very pleasant staff, will use again . The only problem I had was with there DHL Delivery system that is worse than useless! Received from DHL and email to say item picked up would be delivered following day, at a set time, fine as you can guess that didn’t happen (Friday) then nothing happened even on Monday, them a email from DHL saying item was dropped of at one of there collection centres for ME TO COLLECT bare in mind I had payed £7.50 for delivery! I contacted SD Hardware very helpful friendly staff trying to get item re delivered to me! That was not possible, so had to drive 2 miles pay to park to collect from centre that as I said cost me £7.50. As I said very helpful company badly let down DHL rubbish service!”

“This company was wonderful to deal with, They were having online issues and therefore contacted me regarding my order. The woman on the phone was lovely, helpful and got everything sorted. I recieved my confirmation email promptly after and also the product I had ordered came within the next day or two it was brilliant, prompt and friendly service throughout.”

“I phoned first to check and confirm the number of mushroom cams on a particular length espaginolette Clear and accurate information provided over the phone. Ordering on line was straight forward and parcel arrived quicker than expected. Items were well packaged. The only odd thing was the parcel label had the right address but a different name. However everything was fine and quality of items was good.”
