Hi Laurence, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We understand your point on delivery. However, the only delivery option we currently have on this product is next-day, tracked and insured delivery hence the cost. We will continue to look at other delivery options for our products so that we can provide value for money. Fixings are not supplied with these hinges as they can be used with uPVC or timber, so fixing options will vary. We have updated this on the product description, so thank you for the feedback. “Excellent service provider … the internet found SDHL easily via my search criteria and identified them as a trusted supplier. I can now attest to that … I was after a specific type and manufacturer of friction hinges and SDHL had what I needed. The site showed that they were in stock at a reasonable price and they were processed and shipped out quickly and efficiently … can’t ask for more than that.”

“SDH should stand for Super Delightfully Helpful! I recently ordered a “Fuhr Stable Door Kit for 44mm Doors” from them. Being a keen DIY’er and not a professional locksmith, I decided that my lock mechanism wasn’t working correctly (or so I thought!). Contacting SDH and explaining my plight, culminated in a one to one video call with “Gary”, their technical genius. He demonstrated how this lock should operate on one of his stock items, via video. Voila! Problem solved! Thank you for going above and beyond, SDH!”

“Before I purchased the trickle vents SD Hardware were very helpful - providing a picture via WhatsApp of the product and supportive conversation regarding the product which helped me to confirm it was the item I needed. Ordering was easy and the product arrived the following day. Currently we are fitting our trickle vents - after painting windows - the vents are exactly the same as the old ones we have removed. We are pleased to have been able to find a replacement. Thank you SD Hardware for your helpful and prompt service.”
