“We love the runners we bought from Runrug. Having had a disastrous experience with a competitor who end their name with 'outlet' we were hesitant especially when 1 of the products was out of stock. Here we go again, months of waiting but no...customer service was excellent and assured us it would be delivered within 2 weeks and it was. Beautiful design, product is as advertised and appears well made. Cannot recommend this company highly enough”

Hi Marco, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. This particular stair carpet is made using 100% sisal. Sisal is one of, if not the toughest natural fibers that exist in carpets. Sisal is very popular with interior designers for its sculptured basketweave-like texture. The 'Morocco' range is manufactured using a 'flatweave' technique, which ensures that the rug will not fray over time. As a result, a finished or bound edge is not necessary for this particular rug. Occasionally when this product is prepared and cut in the warehouse, there can be some excess threads of sisal left along the cut edge. (This is generally just what has been cut off). I can safely assure you, that this is in no way fraying or pulling. However, if you'd like to contact us directly to provide us with an image, we can certainly look at it for you.
