Hi Marco, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. This particular stair carpet is made using 100% sisal. Sisal is one of, if not the toughest natural fibers that exist in carpets. Sisal is very popular with interior designers for its sculptured basketweave-like texture. The 'Morocco' range is manufactured using a 'flatweave' technique, which ensures that the rug will not fray over time. As a result, a finished or bound edge is not necessary for this particular rug. Occasionally when this product is prepared and cut in the warehouse, there can be some excess threads of sisal left along the cut edge. (This is generally just what has been cut off). I can safely assure you, that this is in no way fraying or pulling. However, if you'd like to contact us directly to provide us with an image, we can certainly look at it for you. Stair carpet had a fault that was visible after I laid the carpet. after They sent me a piece to replace that bit. So carpet will have a join. I have a bad heart so it’s an effort to relay. Not really happy as the carpet should’ve been checked before it was sent

As you mentioned in your review, we were able to provide you with an additional piece of carpet to replace the section that had a line fault, free of charge. We are sorry but we cannot accept returns on products that have already been installed. We hope you understand this. We would like to reassure you that 9 times out of 10, stair carpets are installed in smaller sections, and when installed correctly, you cannot see any joins in the carpet, due to the creases in the stairs. I know a black carpet can be difficult to keep clean, but this 7ft x 2ft rug at £72.is made of cheap materiel, where every speck of anything sticks to it...very disappointing for the price....

It is such a shame as black carpet runners do look very modern and stylish, but they do take quite a lot of aftercare as naturally, they will show more specks of fibres which occur naturally within the home. i dont have a problem with the rug as such but the colour is so much darker than the picture on the internet. This is impotant because a rug needs to go with the decor. The one in the picture looks to be the same colour as a natural hessian mat and would have been the same colour as the oak floor. In reality it is much darker and stands out too much.

The quality of the Rug is fine, however it does not stay in position on the Carpet it’s intended to protect. Basically it moves greatly as you walk on it.

I received at text saying my runner would arrive by end of day on Thursday. 11th. I took day off work and stayed in all day frequently checking tracking. At 20.46 there was a message on tracking saying delivery could not be attempted. There was no reason given. I had to also take Friday off work and in morning I got a message saying delivery would be between 11.59 and 1.59. When my runner arrived the delivery man knew nothing about it being out for delivery the day before. It was also very difficult to find correct department to contact DHL. Website kept saying the tracking by.ber I sent was not correct. There was no telephone contact my.ber either. Unfortunately the runner was not worth all this hassle.

The ordering was easy, the order was promised to ship and arrive in a few days. It was delayed and I did get an email about that, but just the one. No updates on expected delivery or any means to track the shipment. That end of the business needs to be worked on.

J‘ai reçu très rapidement (en quelques jours) des tapis commandés auprès de runrug.com (France), et je suis satisfait de ce qui a été livré. Cependant, il est bien spécifié sur le site runrug.com que la livraison est gratuite. De plus, pour une facture se montant à 253.50 €, une TVA de 42.25 € a été payée lors de la commande. Or, lors de la réception de la marchandise, j’ai dû verser 98.50 € par chèque au livreur DHL, ce qui n’était absolument pas prévu. Cette somme représente : a) 20 € de droits de douane. Ceci n’était pas mentionné lors de l’achat. b) 61€ de TVA sur marchandise. Pourquoi, puisque la TVA a déjà été payée lors de la commande? c) 17.50 € de TVA pour paiement anticipé par DHL. Pourquoi, puisqu’il était indiqué que la livraison était gratuite? J’ai envoyé par deux fois un courrier au site runrug.com (FR) pour demander des explications. A ce jour je n’ai reçu aucune réponse.

The wrong color stair rods were sent to me. Ordered jubilee antique, received what looked to be jubilee pewter. Run rug insisted they were the right ones, so not the case. They didn’t want to admit the wrong color was pulled from inventory. I had to pay for return shipping. Many emails were sent back and forth as there was no phone number to speak to a live person. I will never order from this site again.

Obviously communication problems at your end .you sent me a msg to tell me my purchase was not in stock .the next day you sent me a msg to say it was on its way a d with the Currier .still havnt received it Pleas tell me what is going on

I have had much better quality carpet runners from other suppliers in the past. . The runner that I have recently purchased from you has a kink going from one side to the other. It does not lay completely flat and could, therefore, cause someone to trip.

They simply forgot to despatch my order. Only when we telephoned twice, did they suddenly have it collected by the courier. So, it was finally collected by the courier on the actual day we were expecting to receive it - and so it finally arrived with us several days later.

Pleased with the carpet runners when they arrived. Unfortunately the day after we placed an order there was a 10% discount introduced. We had not even had delivery when this happened. I emailed Carpet Runners UK immediately about this, but they could not be bothered to reply to my email. This left me feeling very disappointed.
