“I bought two bales of the Alfalfa hay, excellent value for money compared to other brands. It wasn’t full of hay fines or dust either like I’ve experienced with other brands, good long strands of hay. Our rabbit loves it. I also bought two bags from pillow wads selection of treats, just as high quality as the hay, I was satisfied that my rabbit wasn’t being fed any rubbish. We had a slight issue with delivery but this was rectified extremely quickly and easily. I will be a returning customer.”

“Dandelions to Timothy hay and everything in between all big hits with my bunnies , I don’t buy with the intention to order regularly but I don’t think we will be without pillow wad’s hay and forage now as I’ve really seen an improvement in how much I take my bunnies eat with these products”

“Pillow Wad are just overall a genuinely lovely businesses to deal with! Everything from customer service, to shipping speed, to the actual products is all just wonderful. I originally came across the products through a rescue that they had donated a lot of hay to. I was looking for a good hay company. I had tried various pet shop brands but they weren't quite the quality I wanted and I was unhappy with how much plastic I was throwing away. I tried some other home delivery hay companies but I found ones that delivered in cardboard boxes were not compressed enough and the boxes were just too big for my house! So discovering pillow wads compressed bales that came in biodegradable wrapping was a dream come true! The pricing is very reasonable (and they give discount so more you buy the more you save!), even across forage which can often be very pricey. Pillow wad definitely have me and my Guinea pigs as a customer for life!”

“I had purchased the Timothy hay from a small retailer and was delighted with it but couldn’t remember the producer, the retailer didn’t have it and as they tend to buy in to order, didn’t know either. After some searching I came across your website. I have ordered twice now and recommend Timothy hay, Farmers blend, the sawdust bedding…although I have newly converted to the eco bedding. It’s absorbent, keeps the odour down but my main reason is I find it doesn’t get caught in my long haired guinea pigs hair. He has very little matting and grooming is a lot easier. Also love the antioxidant mix. Thank you for the care you take with your products and the environment.”

“Sammy and Ash's favourite bedding brand! Softest most comfortable woodshavings they've ever had the pleasure of napping on. Both very big fans of the treats also - dandelion roots in particular! Very quick delivery as well. All in all a great service and would give 10 stars if possible.”

We've tried our best to keep costs down for our customers by not charging the full amount we pay for postage or for the feed and bedding within the sample packs. Additionally, if purchased with any other item, we've dropped the delivery cost further to just £2. “Fantastic hay! My buns love it…I love listening to their happy chomping :-) The vet always says comments on how healthy and happy my rabbits are. I first bought from Pillow Wad because they were a family business - I’d rather my money goes to a family community. I like how they are committed to supporting charity and they have now moved to biodegradable packaging - I know nothing about farming but I am hoping they are considering how they can make their farm more biodiverse, in light of the tragedy of climate change and species loss. Their delivery is always fast and their customer service is great. Most of all this is a business who regularly ask their customers what they want, and listen to the feedback. As long as I have bunnies, which will probably be for the rest of my life, I will buy from Pillow Wad!”

“What a fabulous company. Not only do you support a small UK business, but everything they send out is 100% top quality. Excellent fully compostable plastic free packaging too. My 2 bunnies go bonkers for the Timothy Hay & dandelion roots! You can’t go wrong with Pillow Wad.”
