“I've recently ordered 3 packs of alfalfa hay, and I was really disappointed with the quality. More than half the bag is just dust, hardly any full stalks. My bunnies don't even want to eat this.”

Hi, This review is very upsetting for us to read. The pictures look like the last bit to come out of the machine and we are very sorry this has been sent out to you. We keep these bags to one side and to prevent any waste we spread it on the fields which acts as a natural fertiliser, helping to promote healthy growth. These bags should have been rejected and I assure you we will investigate how this didn’t happen. We are a family business that really cares about the lovely people that use our products and want to ensure they get the quality we set out to produce. We have written on the bags to get in touch if something is not quite up to the high standards we strive for. With most of our products being naturally grown outside there are many factors where the products can differ. That is why we are always here to listen to any issues and help to resolve them as quickly as we can. We look forward to your reply on messenger where we had already offered some options to hopefully go some way towards rectifying this. “Website clearly says free next day delivery on orders over £20. I placed a £30 order and only gave me 2 to 3 day delivery. Very misleading and give false promises. Regret using them and wouldn't use again.”

“Very quick delivery I'm new to here I habe 2 baby guinea pigs, they love the alpha hay I mix it with farmers choice happy fur babies, good quality lots to choose from and I'm in love with the hides you make from cardboard what a genius idea the piggies love them so easy to put together. I will be ordering again happy piggies happy human thank you 😊”

“Hi Not sure about all these animals loving the Barley Straw but mine was bought for Humans. Just about to put it around a large Strawberry patch. Lets hope the Rabbits don't come in and eat it all. I want my Strawberries. Cheers. Quick delivery and smells fresh. Thanks Bob”

“i love pillow wad, ive used it for years for my guinea pigs, and only once had a problem with poor quality hay a few years ago, nothing since. definitely the best brand. i even popped into their hinton farm once and they helped me out. just started getting delivery rather than going into pet shops and this was very good too. glad they are using compostable packaging”

“If I could give 6 stars I would! Brilliant range of products for my two rescue Guinea pigs who have not been familiar with hay in their previous home :( They actually squeak for the farmers blend now only after a few weeks of owning them. Efficient and quick delivery and perfect communication all round too. Won’t be shopping anywhere else from now on!”

“I was using a big chain brand till I came across Pillow Wad, thinking hay was hay! until I received my first order from Pillow Wad. Such colour, fresh and our bunnies loved it. I went on to order the wood shavings and I couldn’t believe how soft it was, worth every penny. Website is easy to order from, the online enquiry system is very responsive plus fast delivery. Happy customer here. 😊”

“I have only recently found Pillow Wad and as an owner of 6 guinea pigs we go through a lot of hay. The pigs and I have been very impressed with the quality. The also enjoyed the flower, dandelion and nettle treats. Ordering online is so easy. Our order arrived promptly and I'm very impressed with the environmentally friendly packaging. We will be customers for life now!”
