“Esme, an avid reader and lover of history did not enjoy this subscription. The factual history resources and activities were engaging BUT the stories were not. The awful characters -especially the girl and her disdain for learning- and their arguing caused my daughter to lose interest after a couple of books. To attempt to renew interest, I pre-read the books and redacted all the arguing and arbitrary cruelty and read the books aloud but it was too late. The remaining half of the books were unread. I wasn't going to write a negative review but, since I've been asked multiple times to respond, here it is.”

“Absolutely love it. Books were great fun stories and introduced subject specific terms. Fact sheets and activity book was a great starting point for exami ing time period. Kids loved the added stickers, bookmark ect. Just wish I could order them individually because we had the subscription but wasn't always the order we were doing subjects in our homeschool, or I wanted replacement units.”

“My 2 daughters have really enjoyed MIT. As we were nearing the end of the subscription, the layout changed into more of a comic style magazine which I think actually improved the magazine greatly (I didn't actually think it could have be better until then). Would recommend for anyone interested in history.”

“I bought this subscription for my eldest (9 years) as a combined Christmas gift from his godparents. We spent the extra money on the bumper pack, and the subscription was for six months. It was worth every penny! As a parent, I appreciated receiving an email update to let me know when the box was on its way. I work in PR & Communication, and this company's communications was 5 stars. As a comparison, I bought a different subscription (different company, different box topic) for my other son. I was suckered with the impressive storage box to keep all his deliveries in. This other subscription was the same value but the quality and items received were pathetic. Everything was cheap or photocopied, and it was mostly papers and stickers sent every month. There was no communication, and the pack never arrived on time. Mysteries in Time is far greater value for money. Buy Mysteries in Time, you won’t be disappointed. I promise!”
