It was really interesting and I will pay more attention to it if I fly in the future. The main tips, if you are prone to it or if you have a weakened immune system, are 1. wear a mask. 2. Keep hydrated and help your immune system with vitamins etc before you go.
On the flight out I wore a mask, turned off the overhead air con, and drank plenty of water. Everything was good and I enjoyed my holiday. Sadly, I got a bit "cocky" on the way back - didn't wear the mask, cut down fluids to avoid trips to the loo and ate a junky bacon roll. Guess what? 3 days later I started a severe chest infection, the threat of being admitted to hospital and a double course of antibiotics. I feel much better now but it has taken 4 weeks to clear so thank you to My Pharmacy for the tips!!!”
