“This is a beautifully maintained and serene place. The whole experience of my husband's cremation on Feb 28th was calm, dignified, unrushed and respectful. The music was exactly as I had requested and we were treated very kindly by the staff. The best cremation experience I have ever had and I thank you.”

“The service was lovely and the chapel was comfortable and modern. I wasn’t too keen on the words of the hymns being displayed across the screens in front as it made it a bit like karaoke! Also, we didn’t know that my mothers name would be displayed electronically above the coffin otherwise we would have used the name she went by as opposed to her given first name. Otherwise it had a ca and respectful ambience.”

“We were only there (North Oxfordshire) for a committal (my wife). So, not a long time at all. Did not use any of the facilities, so cannot comment on them. The main facility was roomy and comfortable and the acoustics were better than those of the church where we had come from (according to one guest who is hard of hearing). The grounds and car parking areas were immaculate. Humphris Funeral Directors (Banbury) deserve a mention - they are fantastic.”

“We were very impressed with the facilities offered to us at South Oxfordshire. The whole environment was conducive to the occasion from the grounds, the building, the music and the video features. All this is much appreciated when you are saying goodbye to a loved one, in our case, our mother.”

“The setting at Countesthorpe is so lovely with views across the countryside, plenty of parking so no stress there. The inside is so beautiful, clean, and the seats are very comfortable. Felt very spacious & well laid out. Would highly recommend it.”

“The arrangements for our mother’s funeral went very smoothly and we were very happy with all aspects. The location was peaceful and although there were just a few of us (the main event being a memorial service in church) it felt welcoming and peaceful. The venue felt fresh and comfortable. The undertakers involved (Harvey Brothers) we’re superb and we left with the feeling that everything had been done to the very highest standard. Many thanks to all involved.”

“Myself and family recently held a service for my father with memoria and whilst it is an incredibly sad occasion they made sure he had a beautiful service that done him justice! The crematorium itself sits in a perfect location away from public areas which provided a welcomed sense of privacy to family and friends. The interior itself created a very intimate and calming atmosphere which was greatly appreciated by all those who attended. Every element of the service was fantastic, the building, it’s location, the organisation of the ceremony and the attention to detail. Whilst so many different factors made the service special it was the commitment, professionalism and support offered by the team at Memoria that really stood out. During storm Eunice my home was without power which subsequently caused me to miss the window to submit a family made tribute for my father (this was on a Friday and his service was on the following Monday). After a quick search online I was able to contact a gentleman named Frank Meilack who is the communities director, I gave a brief message explaining the situation and received a reply less than a minute later! Frank firstly offered his sincere condolences and took it upon himself to do everything he could to ensure the tribute would be played at the service. Keeping me updated with every step of what was happening Frank contacted the operations manager, a gentlemen named Carl clamp. Between the two of them they liaised with Obitus and made it happen within less than 24hours! On the day of the service everything was seamless from start to finish, myself and my family couldn’t be more grateful to these two gentlemen. They are an absolute credit to what is already clearly a very considerate, professional and all round caring service. I was told that at memoria they always do their very best and these were not empty words! Again I would like to take this opportunity to thank Frank, Carl, memoria and all involved in my fathers service for making an incredibly difficult time that little bit easier, thank you.”
