“Everything went really smoothly, and my dad had a great send off, the one negative thing was I would have liked to spend some time with the guests that were not coming back to the wake. Just a covered place outside would have been welcomed”

“I recently had to say goodbye to my husband We had our service at North Herts. Everything from start to finish was just what I wanted. Very professional and caring. I find the place very tranquil and the gardens beautiful. We had a turnout of about 300 people. Nothing was a problem. Highly recommend.”

“Everything was perfect inside the building and the surrounding gardens. The only thing the family would have liked is more time for the service including conversations afterwards in the grounds - an hour is not enough. We felt rushed, with mourners arriving for the next service before we had left.”

“I think you need to address mobility issues. My husband is in a wheelchair and in order to get into the service he had to get off the path with no drop curb to get past a light post which is embedded into the path at the entrance. The service itself was excellent. It's a shame there's no room to gather in prior to the service. We were very lucky to have a dry morning in a month of rain, and we had a little difficulty getting everyone together from the car park in order to get started. It's not the sort of occasion that you want to start shouting. I've just seen the rest of the questions and I think you should have this survey made more appropriate!”

“The whole process from start to finish has been excellent. They were always available to answer and questions and worked with the funeral directors to provide us with the funeral we wanted. Donna has been so helpful and provided a beautiful service for the internment. I would like to thank everyone’s involved as we have managed to have a perfect tree, with everything we wanted to remember a wonderful person.”

“We recently attended my brother's funeral at the Martyrs Chapel on 23rd October. Everything went well except the curtains wouldn't close at the reflection. The Martyrs Chapel is perfect for a smaller funeral and it was very well presented.”

“I recently had the sad need to have to choose a crematorium for my dear mums cremation, she lived in Arksey so using your facilities in Barnby Dun was just perfect for us, unfortunately the weather had other ideas as the road flooded. Upon arriving via Doncaster I was so very impressed with the grounds, the chapel was bright and airy with comfortable seating, the 3 photograph's we had chosen to display via TV screen and projector one above the coffin and one each side where clearly visible to all and the music sound system played our chosen music at just the right volume, if it is your sad duty to have to choose a crematorium for your loved one I think this is the nicest I have seen and would highly recommend”
