“My father’s funeral took place at North Hertfordshire Memorial Park. The event ran very smoothly and it was a fitting send off. It was also helpful to be able to record the event for those unable to attend.”

“All done with dignity and consideration. The room is peaceful, music was lovely the chairs were a little too close together though. Maybe a few inch space between them would be more suited to larger guests. Grounds are lovely”

“My mum passed away in early January, and the local crematorium based in Hitchin was the location we choose. They were very accommodating and we got our chosen date for the service. The surroundings are very tranquil and serene. It didn’t go unnoticed at this very sad and stressful time but all the staff are very professional and humble. For friends and family that couldn’t attend due to COVID an online service was also available, along with a photo tribute. We had our own priest conduct the ceremony and am happy to say it all went as smoothly as it could. Warms wishes and condolences continued to come long after the funeral service and everyone said it was a lovely service. Thank you again for taking care of mum in such sad and emotional circumstances.”

“A beautiful,tranquil setting to say a final goodbye to a loved one,the staff are all extremely caring,kind and helpful and make sure everything goes smoothly,they take all the stress and worry at the most difficult time of your life,and leave you with the peaceful affirmation that the final thing you could do for those you've lost was everything you could of wished for,and you chose the best company to hand it all over to,nothing was too much trouble and as a family,we couldn't have asked for better.we couldn't thank them enough.”

“We were very impressed with the service. The setting was impressive and peaceful with easy access and plenty of parking; the facility itself was clean and modern and our mother's photos were beautifully presented on the screens; although small, the service felt warm and intimate and just as our mother would have wanted. We've not answered your next two questions as all contact with you was handled by the funeral directors, Taylor & Sons of Burford”

“We held a service recently at South Oxford Crematorium, arranged through Didcot Cooperative funeral care. We did not communicate directly with the Crematorium staff however I wanted to say how impressed I was with the Crematorium itself. The setting was very peaceful, the chapel carpeted and comfy sofas to sit on rather than pews or chairs, made the day more relaxed and less formal. Having been to other crematoriums where there are multiple chapels you feel rushed and as if on a conveyor belt. This location was the exact opposite. If only more Crematoriums were like this one.”
