“Such a peaceful setting outside and a lovely interior. Certainly the nicest Crematorium I have ever visited. Dad's funeral went so smoothly and we didn't feel rushed. Being in such light clean comfortable surroundings helped at a difficult time.”

She handled everything with the sensitivity and ease needed in the challenging area of death. She helped us make decisions about my husband's cremation and provided an ideal space for the memorial service. Thanks for your work and dedication.”

“A beautiful location and a light-filled chapel. Everthing well explained in advance. Seamless communication between the Crematorium and the Funeral Director and the Celebrant, ensured the ceremony was managed perfectly. But the time is too tight. Saying my last goodbye to my deceased wife I was made aware that I should leave promptly as the next group were due to come in. There must be a better way of helping the bereaved to deal with this critical moment in the ceremony.”

“South Oxfordshire Crematorium is a lovely site and the service room/chapel is beautiful. The staff were helpful and friendly both on the day of the service and assisting in the choice of a memorial. The photo & musical tribute they compiled for me as part of the service is beautiful and it is so nice to have a copy of it as a keepsake.”

“Pleased with the way the service was conducted by Zoe Dunlop. The seating inside the Chapel was excellent. The online service was well delivered. The whole experience at the Crematorium helped me through what was a very stressful time.”

“My Son, Daughter & I were able to visit the venue prior to the funeral, which was a big help to us, as we hadn't been before. It helped us to know how we wanted the funeral to run. The person showing us around was very helpful and understanding. Thank you. The service we had was lovely and the setting is delightful for such a sad occasion. The seating was extremely comfortable and the whole room was so light and airy, that it somehow didn't seem right to be miserable but instead to celebrate the life of your loved one. Everything went extremely well.”

“The crematorium is in a beautiful and peaceful setting which all adds to the overall experience. The grounds are really lovely and expansive enough to mean you don’t feel as though you are in anyones way either before or after the service.”
