“Good product, as advertised and with good delivery time. The reason this isn't a 5-star review is because the printed instructions said that the aperture to the loft should be measured only after lining it with plasterboard. This information is not included in the online instructions that I read when making the order, so I measured according to that. Luckily, my fitting worked without plasterboard, but otherwise it could have been a disaster. If that information was in fact in the online instructions, then please forgive me, but I don't remember seeing it anywhere.”

For your peace of mind the lining only relates to the fire rated version, as yours is the non-fire rated version this would not have been necessary. “undoubtedly I chose the correct loft hatch and the speed of the supply was beyond my expectations. The finished product looks well, and I am a satisfied customer. One irritating item was the pole for the general lock. It is not comfortable to use and I have to stand on a stool due to my smallish stature, and I suppose my age, being nearer 90 than 80. My hand was sore for two days. A minor point but you did ask!!!”

“Very pleased with my new loft hatch which was made to measure to fit the existing loft opening aperture. It arrived within two weeks of the order being placed. It is still to be fitted, but it is very neat and will blend in perfectly with the ceiling.”

“We ordered a made-to-measure loft hatch. The website was easy to use and the instructions and explanations were very helpful. Simple to order and pay too. It arrived as promised and was simple to fit - we got the measurements right! It looks and feels a robust and well made bit of kit and I'm sure it will give many good years of service.”
