“This was my second loft hatch from Jupiter and both have been perfect and so easy to install. The website for putting in what size, what type etc is very good and easy to follow. Will be placing another order with them when my daughters extension is needing a loft hatch. The item was allocated a 7-10 day slot, received on day 7.”

“The loft hatch was to replace a cheap plastic loft hatch that came with the house. Needless to say, the old loft hatch was fitted badly and had distorted allowing cold air to enter from the loft. The new hatch was easy to fit, looks good and provides an airtight seal. I am pleased with the results. There were no problems with my order. The whole process went very smoothly.”

“Item is quite flimsy & so difficult to keep square. Easier to fit with two people. Check the internal measurements as well as the external external as my existing internals were 50mm shorter than this one meaning I had to remove a noggin. Also the surround is slightly translucent so if you haven’t painted right up to the edge of the opening, or the plaster edge isn’t neat, you will be able to see a colour difference even though it’s white. Same with the catch. The pole, which you have to buy separately, is expensive for what it is, but would be difficult to make up yourself. Without it you would need a chair or hop up to release the catch. Also i had to cut out two slots of the polystyrene so the ladders wouldn’t push the hatch back too far. And that was the thinnest insulation so would be worse on the other two options given.”
