“A good product, with the appropriate level of moisture and no strange colours to frighten the birds. It was packaged in a thin polyethylene (LD) bag placed in a standard thickness cardboard box. In it's long and hazardous voyage from Chicksands to the Northern wastes of Bedford it had been somewhat stressed by the delivery men who had subjected it to such rigours that the lateral upper right angled fold of the cardboard box had been rent asunder for one end to the other and left the thin bag exposed. One more minor stress would have resulted in a catastrophic outflowing of a number of kilos of bird pellets.”

“Fantastic service, an actual person telephoned to say that the order was delayed and it then arrived exactly as they had said and over a weekend. The number of pheasants round the feeder seems to have increased dramatically in the last week too so we can only think that Ivel Valley food gets top marks from them as well.”

“The bird food is good value, and the birds evidently enjoy it, but I more oftenn than not have an issue with inadequate packaging. This time the bottom of the outer box had split open - I would say more tape is needed to hold it together, especially as the box is filled with heavy packs of seeds and fat balls.”
