“Whilst on the site I was looking for a specific oak finished door all the images I reviewed were Oak, when putting the details for the option with glazing into the website it diverted me to a white primed variety but the image was greyed out. Unfortunately I did not notice the description change and ordered the door. On the day of the delivery I received a notification and saw in the description the error so cancelled the delivery. That was on the 24-11-23. I have phoned twice and E-mailed twice asking for updates on a refund but have had no response (07-12-23) here's hoping something happens soon.”

Hi Clive, thanks for the review. We've waited a few days to respond while the team worked with you to come to a satisfactory outcome. Although we weren't able to replicate the issue you had on the website that led to you ordering the wrong door, we have been happy to refund you the cost of the order minus the delivery cost (as unfortunately it was cancelled too late and the item had already been shipped). We're sure things will go a lot smoother in future, touch wood.

“Wide range of laminate flooring to choose from, the best I had found. I had concerns about not getting a delivery date straight away, but once obtained it was quick. Have recommended to friends.”

We work closely with our suppliers, our warehouse team and our couriers to ensure your products arrive safe and sound, as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, that process does mean it can take us a day or two to confirm delivery dates which we understand can be a little worrying. But, as you've found, more often than not the end result of that process is a speedy delivery to your door!

“I ordered 8 internal doors which I’m very pleased with. The quality is spot on for the price I paid. I was particularly impressed with the level of customer service. My initial order was done online but then telephone communication made the whole process hassle free. They even assisted with a contact for a French Polisher when one door was damaged on site. I’ll definitely be using A Wood Idea again in the future.”

“I ordered 9 internal doors. As it turned out one size was out of stock so I cancelled the order and my payment was speedily refunded. I had a delay on the job and subsequently re-ordered the doors with them. They arrived very well packaged at the time I was given in email correspondence. I have found my dealings with A Wood Idea to be very positive and I am happy to recommend them given my personal experience”
