“Booked in advance a journey from Newquay airport to St.Ives. Everything seemed booked and we even received a booking confirmation text message to reply Yes to our booking, which we did. When we landed we were looking for the driver but couldn't see them. We called the company and they told us the booking was cancelled and no replacement to be offered. They said the 'email might have went to the junk box and the text message and app are faulty as they are in beta testing so we should have ignored that'. So we should have ignored the direct confirmation of booking, interesting policy. Luckily the taxi company at the airport had a taxi available straightaway and it was even cheaper then 1st Airport taxis.”

“This was the first time we had used 1st Airport Taxis for a visit back to the UK. Our happy driver Raja was extremely friendly, communicative and made our journey from the West Midlands to East Midlands very straightforward, particularly when travelling with our toddler. Should we be arriving into Birmingham airport again and needing a transfer, we will most definitely be booking with 1st Airport taxis in the future.”

“Made a late booking with this company yesterday afternoon as our original flight home from Màlaga was cancelled and alternative flights came into Heathrow. Our car was parked at long stay car park in Gatwick! Anyway booking was simple and driver was there in time. Very professional guy and got us to pick our car. “Taxi driver was very rude as we were 7 minutes late. He came at 3:45 am for 4:15 am pick up and kept on calling us to start early. He lost his next pick up and kept out shouting about it the whole journey, that the company took his next customer from him and that was due to us. Agree we were slightly late but there was no understanding that with young children coming with adults so early in the morning this can happen. Such behaviour of shouting through the whole journey for his own frustration is not acceptable. Driver was otherwise driving safely and dropped us on time at the airport.”

“I booked a taxi for the early morning and after the booking time passed I checked my booking only to find it had been inexplicably cancelled! I then tried to contact them later via the so-called "instant chat" and got no answer! They are rubbish and the only reason I gave 1 star is because you can't give none.”

“We cannot recommend 1st Airport taxis enough, their service is very good, contact prior to pick up both outbound and return journeys was great, very polite and prices very competitive. Unfortunately on return from our journey our plane was diverted to a different airport we contacted the taxi company and we decided it was best to cancel the return journey as had no idea when we would get to luton with coaches etc. We didn't expect a refund but before we had collected our luggage the cost for return journey was back in our account. A very fair taxi company 10/10 from us.”
