“We ordered two Brompton kits at the same time, one came as expected with the new MAX battery the second arrived with a MAX battery but the rest of the kit was for the previous style battery. They did not work together. So there was a few weeks of back and forth before this was resolved. A bit frustrating. Once installed the kits work great and help flatten the hills a bit for these later 50’s riders. My biggest issue with the kit performance is that there is more drag on the motor wheel when powered off than would be ideal, it makes for slightly less enjoyable power off riding.”

“Good product overall. Took a long time to be delivered but it was worth the wait (I went with the preorder GO kit). I enjoyed the installation process which is simple enough, the hardest part being the pedal sensor. I can see how they have made certain compromises to make the kit universal, for example with the cable lengths - results in a bit of a mess, compared with bespoke e-bikes with internal cable routing. But for the money I am impressed with the ease of installation and the performance from the motor. Transforms an old utility bike into something you want to ride.”

“my go+ kit arrived in the time frame they said it would. all parts were in the box, super easy install. worked as it should on the first ride. all info for setup is in the kit. best thing to bring new life to an old bike. super fun”

“Took forever to arrive. A bit fiddly to put together since the manuals and pictures are a little confusing. For example, I ordered the twist grip throttle control but couldn’t find instructions until I had searched every available manual. The leads coming from the max battery are not color coded well either. Despite these annoying issues it worked first time! Nice smooth ride, no problems. I have yet to test it on a long run or up significant hills.”

“I have a Giant Escape bicycle and I love the bike. I'm in my seventy's and I was looking for a little help on a head winds and hills. I added the Swytch bike kit with the Go+ locking battery to my bike. Watching the on line video really helped with the installation. It does exactly what I was looking for! I can't believe how much fun riding is now. It was worth the wait. They kept me informed each week and told me when it would be delivered. I'm very happy.”

“This Swytch kit is very good! I did a lot of big changes for my customized triathlon bike (I call it Outroad SFDP 18 or Outroad SF Lightning II). 250 watt motor power is good and I mostly paddle assist more than throttle while it is used for backup. My project of this bike took me days to change out the brake lever (expensive Dura Ace), disc brake for heat dissipation, 5000 continental race tires, Redshift pedal lights, customized time trial handlebars for uniqueness, stronger adjustable kickstand, USS seat post for shock resistance, better soft racing seat, black wheel spokes with black rim Weinmann DP18. With the additions, 2 headlights (This one is out of stock), tail lights with double lasers on side, X GPS offline technology, mechanical portable air pump, portable & foldable locker, rockbros bag, and double cup holders on the rear seat. This whole thing cost me around $2000. The wheel spokes took me 4 days to finished if learned for the first time. Otherwise, the kit was pretty easy to install, the pedal sensor works flawlessly, the throttle works great and the OLED full control but my time trial handlebar has no room for them so I find another way to put them on by buying and using the handlebar extenders in the front. The customer service response is good! the delivery is okay but I did receive a refund for promise shipping delivery date (You deserve my 5 star rating for that and did an excellent job), the price is just right! Thank you Swytch Team!”

“Very pleased in all aspects and enjoyed the build which was just as expected. Bit of a snag initially with pedal assist sensor but customer service helped me through it. Have just bought a second battery but due to family issues have done little riding recently. Performance is better than I expected and can ride up hills now at 77 that I could not at 27! p”

“So we have two Swytch Bikes. they both work exceptionally well and we are very happy. my only complaint is I wish the battery did not have to be mounted on the handle bars. We have the very first version and the battery on the handle bars makes it unsteady on the side stand. so a set of extension cables for the wiring to mount the Battery some where else would be super appreciated. all in all though it is a great product. when you already have your favorite bike but wish it had a little power on the hills the Swytch bike is so easy to assemble and painless this is the answer. I had to deal with customer service a lot on my order with a warranty problem and the people and response was very good.”
