I have an original Switch bike conversion kit, and everything is good, but I wanted to upgrade to a newer type battery, so I started an order in November of 2024, put in my credit card, but then changed my mind and never completed the order. My card was charged, and I told them to cancel the order on November 22 of 2024. I was told to cancel on the order page, but that option wasn't there. I sent them a screenshot showing this, but they kept saying the same thing. Finally, on January 6, 2025 I was told that I was getting a refund in 7-10 days. On January 22 I contacted them to ask why I didn't receive my refund yet, and they informed me that the order that I never completed, was on it's way, and I would have to refuse the order or send it back in 14 days to get the refund. There is no tracking number for the order, no phone for Switch bike, and emails accomplished nothing, eventually circling around and saying the same thing they started saying. So it is a great product, just be sure it's what you want before you order! I think it may take a year and a lot of work and frustration to actually get my money back

Good product, relatively easy to assemble and seems to work well. The manual did not download on Safari but only on Chrome which might be worth mentioning initially.

I would like to say its great but haven't currently been able to use it....ordered 26" wheel, received a 590 one which didn't know was a thing, went through a few tyres until worked out its actually 26" 1/3 (not a prolific cyclist and work in inches)...which isn't 26" its bigger....quite obviously. Received much later than intended considering was given 4 months to deliver it don't think that's particularly great either but did expect it to finally do as intended. Went to support who have basically called me a liar and selected 590 tyre not 26" when actually i did select 26" but possibly labelled as 590 which wouldn't have paid any attention to if was as looked at 26" and 590 is NOT 26" its bigger!! that in my book is a falsely labelled issue easily missed when looking for a known quantity in inchs. no "oh sorry we can sort that for you", its you did it wrong and want to charge you extra for sorting it.... Utterly Atrocious customer Service!!

My big complaint with Swytchbike is the lack of backwards compatability. In short, you buy a Swytchbike today, but 3 years from now, you can't get parts or even worse, their entire model format has changed. For example, the original batteries from Swytchbike, sold several years ago, are no longer supported. So what am I supposed to do with them? I can't buy an extra battery - they're no longer making them. In fact, the only course of action is to replace the entire power module (battery and battery mount on the handlebar). This is not very consumer friendly. I don't expect my e-bike to be outdated within a year or two by its own manufacturer. But mine was. The hardware Swytchbike makes is unique to Swytchbike. When it's outdated, it becomes trash. Very disappointing.

Have had issues since I purchased the product and its been impossible to get a hold of someone and get an actual resolution. They claim they will send the product replacement in the mail and months later it never comes.

Ik heb een kit besteld in april met leverdatum eind augustus. Jammer genoeg schuift de datum steeds op en krijg ik geen degelijk antwoord van de klantendienst. De levering is al 3x uitgesteld. Ik krijg geen antwoord op de vraag voor een refund. De antwoorden van de klantendienst lijken eerder AI gegenereerd, zonder concrete info.

I Have bought and fitted two kits 1st was a early incarnation on my wifes bike no issues 2nd was the newer version on my hybrid bike. Constant problems from delivery nearly a year late, hub motor issue after 1.5 years which I had to fund the replacement as it was out of warranty, latest issue is the handle bar mounted control panel has stopped working. Customer service/ after sales care is non existent don't hold your breath waiting for a reply from 'support' how they can call it support with a straight face is beyond me. In short if you are thinking of buying DO NOT. I put the above review on Trust pilot and Swytch quickly responded saying they would contact privately. Swytch did contact me privately asking for a video of the installed kit then NOTHING in terms of response (NO SUPRISE) I have chased four times via email ( the only way to contact, Swytch do not allow phone calls) and no response at all. So they may commented publicly that they are helping me, do not be fooled, they are not. As I said below if you are thinking of buying a Swytch kit whatever you do please DO NOT.

The Distance between Pedal Arm and Frame was less than 1mm. In this case the Stability of the Magnetic Disk Regular is not verry good. I grindet one pair easy fit to a bigger diameter and obtained a Save and Secure Setting on the Base of the Arm. Now the zwo Switch Sets we have installed, perform well bejond our Expectations. Bought a swytch kit as a recommendation from a friend. Initially I thought it was a great purchase but now I'm really regretting buying this. I used the bike a handful of times and always kept in dry storage. I went to use the bike and it came up with error code 30. I logged the problem over 1 month ago and still the problem persists... Their customer service is abysmal. I have emailed so many times and believed I was being ignored by the company for them to respond and say that every time you send a follow up email, you are placed at the back of the queue! That is an insane way to deal with customers. Also cannot contact them by phone so email is the only channel. They have sent me a new LCD screen which did not solve the problem. They responded by telling me the usual stuff they tell you initially when you first log the problem (unplug, plug in blah blah), it's like they don't read the email chains on issues etc. kit is basically brand new and still under warranty so why is it taking so long to get a fix. Currently awaiting an email back from them but every response is taking 3 to 4 days so it's a very slow process. I'll update as this progresses but as it stands, I would steer clear purely based on the aftercare.

Ordered my Swytch Go in early July, with an estimated delivery date in August. I heard nothing in August, so wrote to them. I received an estimated delivery date for September. Heard nothing till this morning, when I get an estimated delivery date for mid October. Not sure if they mean it's arriving in the UK on this date, in which case there's a further delay with customs and distribution etc. I just get a stock reply whenever I write to Swytch. They've had my money for nerly 3 months now. I'm beginning to wonder if they're just scamming money

Maybe, I'm unlucky, but asked to provide a review of my recent order - which hasn't arrived. Asked for tracking - nothing from customer services after 4 days. The original kit is great and although I had some issues it seemed to be that customer services were on it. No issues with kit, but be careful on ordering if you need it in the same year. Hate leaving bad reviews, but don't ask for reviews when it hasn't arrived.

Sorry to say I had a bad experience with delivery, it took 12 months for battery to arrive eventually otherwise everything else was ok, I would be a bit ify about ordering again this is the second time I have had this problem with swytch bike company

Appalling customer service. Doesn't fit my bike even though I was told it would do. No response at all to my repeated queries. Luckily I bought it using my credit card as this is the only way I can get my money back. Stay away!

My kit for Brompton doesn’t work - you give me this and that advice and then to buy a new sensor - I did - it still doesn’t work - I’ve hardly used it

We first order the kit for a folding bike in 2022. We are soooooo disappointed in this kit. It took almost two years after our order to get all the correct parts. Now, the bike does not really seem like its battery powered at all. It seems like it is the changes almost too heavy. This was $650 down the drain!

If you live in Ireland this is a tortuous process. Despite the long order time which was then delayed my kit is still residing with UPS stuck in Customs for the last month. Unable to offer more than that at the moment

I love love ,love my swytch kit! I can make it up any hill without stopping. It’s like riding a tandem with a strong willing rider in back. The install was not straightforward. I needed to modify two washers so that the front wheel didn’t hit the fork. Plugging in involves getting down on my knees with the battery in the best position.

I cannot recommend this product (Brompton kit). Too much drag on the hub wheel means that the bike turns into dead weight as soon as the battery is empty. I've gone back to the regular wheel and the kit is gathering dust.
