“The new Swytch kit with the smaller sized battery is so much better as it adds less weight. This product makes it much more affordable to get into the electric bike market. I love that I can ride more easily in my area which is quite hilly and certainly encourages me to get out more on my bike.”

“I like the fact that I have been able to convert my 1987 Raleigh Pioneer Classic 10 to an electric bike using the Swytch kit. The quality of the fittings is good, and following the instructions simple. The only snag I hit was when changing the front tyre from my old front wheel to the new Swytch one there was a slight mismatch -- I bought a new tyre, and that solved the issue. For me this was definitely a value for money conversion. My bike is a good solid construction, and the combination with the Swytch equipment has added only a few kilos to the weight of it. Certainly it is less than the weight of electric bikes that friends have bought. The trial run went smoothly, and proved that the performance of my bike was boosted, which at my age is a significant factor. Now all I need is the weather to improve for my enjoyment to be fulfilled.”

“WE HAVE THREE BIKES NOW FITTED WITH SWYTCH KIT, THE FIRST WAS IN 2021 AND IS STILL GOING STRONG. COMPARED TO A READY MADE BIKE IT IS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY AS WE CAN USE THE BIKES THAT WE ALREADY HAVE. THERE ARE LOTS OF KITS OUT THERE BUT THE FITTING INSTRUCTIONS AND PROVEN QUALITY OF THIS PRODUCT MAKE SWYTCH THE BEST CHOICE IN OUR VIEW. A BONUS IS THE OVERALL WEIGHT OF THE CONVERTED BIKE AS THIS IS MUCH LOWER THAN THE READY MADE OFFERINGS.”

“Help desk is useless and unresponsive. I have received 2 notices that my delivery is being deferred due to non-payment of a tax invoice which I have requested twice and still not received. Instead I receive a nicely written but useless standard corporate general information diversion response saying they will handle promptly, but do not. And when dialing the phone number Verizon states the number is no valid.”

“I have had a Swytch for several months and I love it! The Instruction Manual was full and very helpful and made construction fairly easy. The components are well made and worked first time. As the motor is incorporated in the front wheel which can be removed, it minimises the weight to take in and out of the car if required. A big advantage of Swytch over other electric bikes is that you are riding your own bike which you know will be comfortable. No need to buy an expensive electric bike and then discover it's not as comfortable as you originally thought. This also means the price can be kept reasonable and much less than a good quality new electric bike. All in all a good decision.”

“I took delivery of my Swytch order in November 2021 and fitted the Swytch kit to my 30 year old Hard Rock bike. I found fitting the kit to the Hard Rock bike to be straight forward. On riding the bike I had a problem with the drive from the Swytch drive cutting out when climbing hills. To Swytch's credit they diagnosed the problem in the battery and were helpful in sending a number of spare parts to solve the problem. I have now fitted the Swytch kit on my old bike to a new bike. Before I bought the new bike I looked into purchasing an ebike at around £2,500 but decided that the Swytch kit I had was OK for my social riding and transferred it to my new bike. The riding experience of Swytch on the new bike has been good and has the advantage of the bike being lighter than a designed ebike. To summarize I have been satisfied with my Swytch purchase and provides good value if you fit to a bike that you already have and like.”

“Not happy at all, my husband ordered his kit in and fully paid for 800€ for his Barcelona Bike ,at the same time ordered a new battety mount for 140£, fir his Brompton here in Croydon they kepy saying bit will take several months to be delivered, then in 22 Oct 2022 the box arrived in Barcelona incomplete, only the wheel and battery arrived, sent them email that several parts to the kit are missing , no respons, then the one for Uk never arrived as according to them we have not paid, i sent them the receipts of the 140 £ payment , up to now 9 March 2023, have not received an email .they sends automatic reply acknowledging receipt of my emails ,but thats it. so obvious I am not happy especially aftervreading all the reviews, looks like we are all on the same boat, been tricked or scammed.”

“I purchased mime C Line Brompton and really wanted a Electric Brompton but, at the time feel like the Electric Brompton from was too bulky and not worth the extra money and the weight. Than come Version 3 of the Swytch Conversion kits. From the commercial look and sound so promising. Once received the kits. The black RIM was as good as the OEM wheel, All components look very high grade and u can tell from the picture the battery holder look solid. After the first ride, feel like the money well worthed. For the amount I spent on the kit, I was able to keep up with mime wife Flyer Upstreet 2 which cost 2x the money. The biggest plus for this kits is the light weight battery. Both the Air and Max is big plus and if u ride less hilly location the range seem to exceed what advertised. Overall it is well worthed money spented.”

“Horrible Horrible experience that I wish on nobody else. I paid for my kit in Aug, 2022. Got an email that the kit had arrived in the country (USA) in December. I was asked to pay sales tax which I did. The kit was then delivered to me end of Jan, 2023. I was busy and travelling at the time. When I finally got to open the kit in Feb I found that it only contained the 28” wheel which was valued at £58 on the invoice and a battery charger but no universal + max battery worth £749!! As well as no online brake sensors worth £34. All attempts to contact this company have been futile. Just complete radio silence. There’s just no way to get a response. I don’t know if I have been scammed or somebody made a mistake or if the battery comes separately. Customer service is non existent. I usually don’t write reviews but I don’t know what else I can do. After waiting for so long when something like this happens it’s frustrating and the lack of accountability makes you feel helpless. I would never ever do business with a company like this and I wouldn’t recommend it anyone else either.”

“I have not gotten a chance to try it because when my kit arrived, it was missing several parts. Customer service is barely responsive. When I finally did get a response, I was reassured that the parts would be sent. Upon arrival, even the replacement parts are still missing pieces. I can now no longer get any response from them. I have useless parts sitting here, and I can do nothing about it. Do not get suckered by this company or product!”

“Joined the "waitlist" in April 2022 and pre-ordered and paid in June. Completed the final order process in August but kept getting reminders to complete the order process !!! Chased for an update in September was provided with a link to place my order !!!! No phone numbers to call so I tried to arrnage a call back but their system wouldn't accept my order number. Tried WhatsApp and e-mail but still no response with an update on my order (it's September now !). Having lost all confidence in the company I decided to cancle my order. Refund was processed surprisingly quickly. Thought that was the end of it but then received an e-mail telling me my order was being manufactured - so I replied saying I had cancelled. However I kept getting order updates ad eventually telling me my order had been dispatched ! Kit was actually delivered on 21st December despite me telling them several times my order was cancelled !!! Contacted Swytch to advise them they had delivered my order by mistake they told me to return the kit for a refund - I told them they had already refunded me - you couldn't deal with a more incompetent company ! Once they finally realised they e-mailed me asking for some dates to collect the kit. When I hadn;t replied within 2 hours (I was working) they chased me !!! They takes days if not weeks to reply but expect a reply in hours !!!! Do not use this company - if you are here looking at review to decide whether to use Swytch - please don;t - I dread to think what their customer service would be like if the kit was faulty. Save your money and put it towards a purpose built E-Bike.”
