“Strangely I came across the swytch ebikes kit by accident when I was looking for a way to carry a moped on the back of my campervan. I needed a way of getting about when my camper was set up on a site out of town. Turning one of my existing bikes into an ebike proved to be the ideal solution. The kit was easy to fit and a joy to use. It's also very cheap to use as I can charge the ba,ttery from the solar panels on my camper and unlike a moped there is no tax or insurance to pay. The swytch kit is a real no brainer for cost effective local transport.”

“Swytch 700c 50 mile kit We have had our Marin San Rafael hybrid bikes for about six years at our house in France. However, due to the pretty difficult hills around there, we had hardly used them. The conversion kit appeared to provide a really good solution, to using existing good bikes, with little wear and tear, without going down the ‘another new bike’ scenario! We had read a few reviews and seen some information on the net regarding the kits...but in the end we took a chance when we bought the two conversion kits. However, we have not been disappointed in any way at all! Great things 1. The kits arrived post free to our house in France. 2. Customer service re. a change of delivery address was good. 3. We took our time fitting the kits, and in all it took about 1.5 hours for both bikes. I had seen some reviews that suggested using sugru as an adhesive for the sensor, and had bought some in anticipation. That was a good thing, as it was needed for our conversion. The adhesive has been excellent. Adapting the sensor was easy. The whole conversion was without problems. 4. The power is easily adjusted, and in conjunction with gear changes, optimises the power available. 5. When we did have a minor problem, we had good support, and the issue was resolved very quickly. 6. We have cycled quite a bit since converting our bikes, and the power is delivered efficiently when you need it. This has included category 4 climbs. 7. The bikes don’t look like they are running on electric power! 8. The overall weight of the bike is considerably less than a pure electric bike. 9. Easy to fit. 10. Magic carpet experience. We would recommend it to anyone who wants Ann exsisting bike electrified”

“We are delighted with our Swytch-powered Tandem. It makes all the difference on the hills. Even though we've fitted the Swytch motor to a heavy duty expedition tandem frame and with the weight of two people, we still get many miles of assistance. A second bonus was the thumb throttle ... an great boost for those tricky starts in heavy traffic.”

“The kit was quite simple to install. The only part of the installation that is a little time consuming is having to install the inline sensors and longer brake cables. The complete bicycle is much lighter than and complete bicycles that I've seen and the battery/controller is very easy to remove to avoid theft. The motor produces very little drag when coasting, which is a constant concern for hub motors, and is very powerful and silent. The motor activates with less than a half rotation of the crankset and the brake sensors work flawlessly. I would highly recommend the Swytch kit to anyone looking to convert their daily rider to electric.”

“Video This is a Swytchbike I received my superb Swytch kit February 2019. I had no trouble fitting it to my mountain bike. YouTube link: https://youtu.be/GG2l0hwgl-Q 7 months on and my kit has been fitted to 5 more bikes. BMX, Mountain bike, road bike, downhill bike all have been great fun to ride. I even put the Swytch kit on my wife’s bike which is already electric making it an all wheel drive Ebike! I cycle in favour of driving a lot more than ever before. There is a lot of customisation possible with the computer allowing you to tailor it precisely to your requirements, It also works straight out of the box if you don’t want any complications. “The swytch kit is convenient you don't have to buy a new bike rather, you can convert your old bike into an e-bike. I have the 500w wheel, which has been great so far. I usually use the padel assist function when I am going to work or school so I don't sweat. It also comes in handy after soccer practice that when I usually go all out (23-25mph). Swytch makes life easier, it's a great convenience. The only issue that I have is with mileage I bought the 50 mile battery pack but I barely get 15 miles going on pedal assist 3. If the swytch team could fix the mileage problem, then this product would deserve 5 stars.”

“Pretty easy to install, the Swytch Kit was the best deal I could find. It was able to add an electric assist to my very heavy cargo bike that I use to haul kids, groceries, and run errands around town. I can't imagine biking the hills in Denver, CO without it!”

“I live in hilly Hampstead in North London and find when I leave my house on my Brompton I always turn right to avoid cycling up the hills. I’m also 59 years old and my knees aren’t what they used to be. Since receiving and fitting my Swytchbike kit (fitting took just 3 hours and was well described in the accompanying manual) not only am I able to turn left and discover the joys of hilly north London, the assistance means I don’t have any pain in my knees when I cycle. Considering the price and quality of the Swytchbike kit compared to other options, it is in my view by far the best way to enjoy electric cycling.”

“I love my Swytch - It gives me so much pleasure to zip along and makes me feel about 40 years younger. I am using my Brompton now pretty much every day because it is so much easier to get around with the motor and I don't have to worry about arriving in a sweat. For years and years I commuted by tube to central London. I can't tell you how much stress has been taken away having the Swytch! (In fact I actually WANT to go to work every day now!) I did have a few problems at the beginning but was able to take the bike in to Swytch HQ and got fantastic service from Dmitro and the team.”

“Great kit. For me it was easy to fit, I did have to modify the Pedal Assist Sensor by cutting off the bracket from the back to get it to fit because of the size and shape of the down tube on my bike, but it was easy to do. After fitting the kit it worked first time. Hills and head winds are now no problem on my commute.”

“I have had no problems with my Swytch 28 " 50 miler throttle only. I am now over 1500 miles and still going strong. My 14 mile commute is great! I recharge after each leg. I have only had to spray the contacts (using MAP sensor cleaner) when I noticed engagement of the motor when stopped. I temporarily fixed this by whapping the right side of battery with my hand. Yesterday I rode 18.5 miles out (59 min) and back (69 min) to donate platelets. I charged the battery while donating (about 2 hours). The battery gave out less than 2 miles short.”

“I bought the Swytch Brompton kit to extend the range of my Brompton bike, which I mostly use when flying a helicopter. When I land somewhere out of the airport, I use the bike to get to nearest town to get decent lunch and return soon enough to wait for my passengers to return. With Swytch kit I can head out 10+ miles without the fear of returning late or exhausted. Swytch kit turned my Brompton to a very meaningful extension mean of transport on my helicopter trips. It is also lightweight enough not to compromise the payload of the helicopter itself. I know that this is quite special case but both Brompton and Swytch are quite special products so it goes well together with special use cases. I would recommend this combination to any pilot who needs to solve his transportation needs out of home airport.”
