“Best thing since sliced bread The Swytch experience must be taken in the context of its business model: which is funding its business from customer pre-orders. So given the extremely limited funds it has there are many expectations that customers may feel frustrated with but once you get kit , it is super awesome !!!!! Well worth it.”

“I’m an older bike rider. I’m 70 years old. The Swytch kit has made it possible to enjoy my cycling. Where I cycle and live in Wales is hilly. Therefore I need all the help I can get to conquer the hills. The Swytch unit allows me to do that. It makes an old guy happy.”

“Black Betty Swytcheroo Maiden voyage. 17 miles in Oregon’s Mosier Twin Tunnels bike path to Double Mountain Brewery in Hood River. Made it almost back to my friend’s house when the battery finally kicked off. Fortunately I have a lovely husband that rescued me 1 mile from the finish line. I got the larger battery with my kit and will probably purchase a second one. They are light enough to fit in my bike bag so I don’t run out again. The route has many steep hills and I need to learn when to conserve my power. I love the fact that this whole set up didn’t add very much weight to my bike. My friends bikes weigh about 75lbs!! Their batteries lasted longer but, they really need to with bikes of that weight. This set up works very well for me. I did not want to buy another bike. The one I have is perfect for me and being able to convert it is a great advantage. I wish the battery power had more range. And, getting the front wheel on was a beast! But, everything else works great.”

“Pretty slick system. Game changer for the steep hills nearby. Installation could have been smoother; had to file axle and lock washers to fit the drop outs on my not unusual bike.”

“Nice purchase. Not too complicated to install. Great for battling against the wind and slopes or when you have less energy. The only thing I would change would be the Air battery pack for the MAX! I recommend! L-A from Québec.”

“Kit is good, easy to install. Battery (bigger pack) doesn't last long, maybe 15-20km with some modest hills. Gearing on the bike is key, my 3 speed makes this ineffective in all but the lowest setting or you just spin the pedals; I still use it but hadn't contemplated this when ordering, and for this reason its not been a total game-changer for me.”

“It actually went on fairly easily , the cable management was a wee tricky and getting the pedal magnet aligned was probably the most challenging . I really enjoy using it as I use this bike to commute to work and it is a lifesaver on the way home at the end of the day :)”

“It works beautifully. Even in pouring rain. It has changed my life - I cycle to work every day - my journey time is reduced by half and I no longer dread the hills. So glad I got it.”

“Great bit of kit that's transformed my bike. I really like the fact that the power is smooth to kick in. It doesn't jerk you forward at alarming speed the moment the assistance activates like some electric bikes do”

“The system is great, customer support is okay. Yet the max battery should do about 30km. In my case I only get 16-18km out of it.”

“Fairly easy to fit. Gives a good power boost, though I think I need to get a throttle control. The fork dropouts were rather tight, so a little judicious abrasive paper treatment helped. A few minor errors in the instructions but common sense interpretation sorted that. I pre-ordered for the 50 per cent discount, which was ok as I was prepared to wait six months during world supply problems of 2022.”
