“My swytch'd bike is not yet on the road for good, but the installation following the enclosed guide worked like a breeze. Not included though were usage instructions for the throttle (agreed, no need ;-) )and the "advanced" display which I would have liked to know how to handle. Found out by trial and error in the end. The bicycle itself though has gone through a ginormous transformation, it is still my beloved old bike, but, people, does this work well now! I liked the idea from the beginning, but got somehow scared when I got to install all the parts. For no reason, as it turned out. Not more than an hour later I was looking at an e-bike, working perfectly whilst not gotten any bulkier than it was. Thank you! Having said that, the kit is not cheap, plus I had to pay a horrendous customs fee (thanks for nothing, Brexit) on top. But if you own a bike you love, there is no better way to make it electrified!”

“I’m 80 years old and couldn’t do the hills anymore and then I got the Swytch kit and put it on my 30 year old bike and now nothing can stop me. It took 3 months to get it but I was kept up to date frequently by email. Love it !”

“I'm recovering from having both knees replaced and wanted an e-bike to help in my rehab. This bike has been exactly what I needed to get me back on. I don't believe I would have ridden much at all without the "peddle assist". I can do between 5-10 miles easily on the battery and basically just use the power on hills and inclines. I've not needed to contact the company for any customer service in the 6 months I've had the bike. My husband (not a bike mechanic) was able to set it up after having a local bike shop switch out the wheel. I'm very happy with the bike and have told everyone I know its a great alternative to buying an expensive e-bike. It suits my needs perfectly.”

“Wait time was reasonable, the kit was complete. My inexperience with tire swapping and fitting the sensor, etc., made the upgrade on my old Trek model road bike a bit arduous, however I got through it and am a better person for it... no fault of the Swytch team for my learning curve. Two things I can suggest: make sure to check axle dimension and provide the correct dimension at the time you place the order. I received 10mm axle. My bike has 9mm, so I had to modify the receivers to make the kit work. It works, no complaints. Maybe Swytch could build in a verification question in their ordering process? The other thing is the digital controller needed a separate mounting bracket because it would not fit on my handlebars. Swytch compensated me for correcting that, thank you! Again, no complaints!”

“I love the Swytch kit, the max is great though the battery does run out fairly quickly on longer rides, but it is really smooth riding. The one negative is the display, I preferred when it was all in one, I just don’t have the space on my handle bar. The customer service is amazing and have dealt with all my issues really quickly and efficiently! Overall I love it and I would definitely recommend the kit to others!”

“cheaper than a full e-bike and i get to ride without assist when i want (and can switch it back). more than enough power for city rides and trailer hauling. it was easy to install and quick to charge.”

“As a pensioner I ordered Swytch to get me back on my trusty old neglected bike. Ordering straightforward, and package delivered as advised after three months. Fitting myself took not much more than an hour following the instructions provided. Been a transformation with many easy 30 milers now under my belt! I'd recommend Swytch as a great value for money product for anyone thinking of converting an old bike.”

“Very pleased with my swytch kit which I have been using for 2 years only thing I will say is I have repositioned the battery and fitted to the seat post and greatly improved the handling of my bike. Perhaps should have been an option when buying new.”
