“Us a user of swytch kit I was looking forward to get the upgraded version. I had to wait for it, but I don’t regret the wait. I am very happy with it. It works very well. Easy to install. Battery is much smaller, lighter and easier to carry around. Work as expected. I am very happy with performance that I bought one kit for my sister. Support staff was very helpful getting a new base monitor sent to me. They helped me to solve the problem very quickly. I would recommend.”

“The kit is very good value for money. It was easy to fit to my bike, except for the sensor detecting the pedal rotation speed. This is because the tubing at the crank on my specialized mountain bike is a larger diameter than a standard road bike. However I managed to adjust it so that it worked ok. After one year of use I find that I have had to adjust that sensor from time to time as it can move a little and the motor then responded intermittently, but adjusting it solved the problem. However Swytch have now offered to send me a replacement updated sensor and magnet disc to solve the problem permanently. Good service.”

“The kit is very good value for money. It was easy to fit to my bike, except for the sensor detecting the pedal rotation speed. “Whilst the Air works well it fails to deliver as advertised: Range: a max of 7 mikes on a regular flat/level tarmac route using the lowest power setting Freewheel: without power my bike is like cycling up a steep hill I have had zoom calls with support who confirm the kit is fitted correctly/well naybe the controlker is at faukt but no action taken”

“Fantastic system! I fully recommend this device, it works beautifully. It has several power levels, and it’s easy to control which power level you want as you ride. It makes riding uphill with a Brompton a piece of cake. It’s also very easy to install!”

“Ordered back in October, promised for January, told that kit was completed and was sent to fulfillment center in February but that was changed to March 1. Received March 23 email indicating they lied as the kit was just completed and was just sent to fulfillment center on March 23. The online tracking form still says March 1 for Fulfillment Center. They can't even keep their communications accurate. Please refund my money. Advice to new customers: "Don't": Don't order, don't trust communications, just don't.”

“This system really is completely brilliant- makes your Brompton into a perfect e-bike. Easy to install, and works brilliantly. The battery has a very long life as well, which is great! I recommend this 100 percent!! And it’s cheaper to upgrade your Brompton than buy a new electric one…”

“The delivery has been delayed by months. I really cannot understand why we have to pay extra for a delivery time if Swytch can’t honour it? I have received only part of my order and, like many, have the order marked as ‘done’ in their tracking system. No response, nobody cares… HELP!!”

“With my electric bike kit, I was not expecting it to be this powerful for a 250w motor and such a small battery - what a joy to ride! It's so powerful for the specs, and so far I think it can go further than advertised on a charge. I live in a mountainous/hilly area, and the motor can assist me up to 32kph/20mph still! This ebike is so powerful for the price. I really appreciate the build quality - mostly metal parts, great connectors, and strong metal screws. While I have only used mid-drive ebikes before, these kits seem on-par or better in terms of power and build quality. In addition, I later ordered the throttle and brake sensor; great upgrades for starting off and safer braking (the motor take about one second to fully stop assisting on levels 4/5 and 5/5). I've even already recommended it to a few friends, and they seem like they're also going to order it! I'm currently planning for this to be my "nice weather" ride to and from work, school, home, etc. as the Air battery has plenty of range (advertised ~9 miles on level 2, but proving to be even better).”

“At the age of 78 , finding that living on a steep hill was becoming less conducive to cycling and recommended by friends, I ordered a Swytch Kit Max. Yes, it took a while for it to arrive but having now installed the kit, completely by myself, it was well worth the wait. It's amazing and cycling is fun again and more importantly I can zoom up the hill with my shopping.. I found the manual precise and easy to follow and working through step by step the installation took me about 4 hours ...with a few coffee breaks! I would thoroughly recommend a Swytch Kit to septuagenarians everywhere.”

“installed the kit on my Fuji absolute 1.1. Pedal assist kit only (did not order the throttle) … and also the basic LED display. The battery and battery mount is an awesome concept and makes it so easy to put in and take the battery out for charging. The battery is also easy to carry considering it just looks like an oversize power bank. The build quality is topnotch. Only “glitch” in the install was the axle size which was a tad too big for my fork’s dropout - but a little time spent filing did the trick and the wheel/hub motor got installed fine. Took the bike for a road test and it was a fun ride. I live in a relatively hilly little city north of Dallas and sure made going up those hills a breeze. Good value for the money and can see myself travelling with this bike - well, ebike now.”

“I’m nearly 75 years old, but wanted to get myself in better shape with some convenient exercise. I bought the kit to convert an old, but well kept DAHON folding bike to be a really useful transport and exercise unit. After a rather long, and annoying delay, it arrived and was easily installed. I had the installation verified by the DAHON agent here, and he said it looked great. I cycle now more or less every day, and of course can park anywhere, which is certainly not the case with my car. I have great range, and using it at P1 can get where I want AND get some exercise in the process.”

“The Swytch conversion kit is an easy to fit system even for those of limited mechanical ability. It is compact and fits without interference to other cycle options (unless you have a front basket or similar which would have to be removed). The pedal sensor is a good fit and does not appear to interfere with the pedalling action or get caught by your foot or trousers. I have the mid range controller which only allows you to go up through the power modes of which there is 0 (off) to 5 settings and not back down - go up to 5 and the next selection is 0. In hindsight I should have had a controller that goes up and down the power settings. But it is easy once you are used to it so not a insurmountable problem. In my kit, a couple of unused wires from the battery support could have been tidier and capped. Compared to buying a full electronic bike it is much cheaper option. I am very happy with the purchase and usefulness.”
